Guys I think we got to relax a bit, even Queen of Tears had a happy and satisfactory ending after all the bad tumour and stuff so I think Love Next Door will also have a happy and satisfactory ending

I rewtached the preview of ep 9, from that it seems that ex proposing to SR is a scene from the past, when she was in states, if you guys carefully look at the background, it seems to be from States and not some place in Korea. I hope its just her ex recalling the past to win SR back and not something from the present

So because of the speculation that the beginning of the ep 1 was actually the ending I really just rewatched ep 1 and guys thats not the case. SH wants to work for the crematory project but that is the present scene not something from the future because from the crematorium he directly rushed to the award function and we have seen him telling those brats (who cheated FL father) that he recently won an award. All this seems to be going in a present tense. If the beginning was supposed to be the ending SH must have been shown to have first visiting a grave and then talking about the project.

I really hope so

I hope it was just her revealling what happened to her 3 years back and there is no relapse, and also I hope she will turn down her ex's proposal makes things clear with SH and be together with him and give us a happy ending

Well I started this drama with a hope that it will be a happy ending which now we are not sire about and as for us knowing that something like this is going to happen , I thought she might be in depression, or something like an accident etc. I wasn't expecting another queen of tears

Guys I couldn't bring myself to watch ep 8 after reading all these comments. Can anyone please tell me if her cancer had relapsed or its just her doubt because she is in sudden pain and is revealling what happened 3 years back. Please tell?

1. Yes, when in workplace females do face such situations where they have a colleague or boss who tries to get close to them. So SH parents have this misunderstanding and aren't able to clear this up because they are too busy with their work.
2. I guess she would say that she needs some time. I don't think her family would be around otherwise, both of them wouldn't be focusing on how to face each other the next day, instead they would have been tensed about how to face their parents.
3. No, I think they will be spending time together just for Sr to figure out if she should say yes to SH, but yes deep down as she likes him already, she dresses up for him
4. No, it would be too fast, there is still so much that they need to talk about, as it is a healing drama, the leads must fall for each other slowly and understand each other to the core before they finally kiss. It would be great if they kiss in ep 9 or 10. Even then We would get many kiss scenes till ep 16.
5. Maybe around ep 10. They need to know each other more, like SR and SH have had feelings for each other for more than 10 years and still it took SH 8 eps to confess so I think 2fl and 2ml need some time before they actually get together

1. When friends become lovers its kind of cute, you can pick on each other, have cute and lovely fights and still be esch others home and comfort each other. I think the relationship between SR and SH will mature as they date and their relationship will be a delight to watch.
2. Well the ex cheating on SR happened to be in some club so if he really didn't cheat it could be possible that he got drunk and possibly did that wrong, like it happens when people loose control on themselves when they get drunk.Maybe before SR left US she met him and she decided to end the
relationship on a good and
peaceful note.
3. As per the preview of ep 8 SR said that she liked SH first so its quite possible that when they both were young SR tried to know if SH had feelings for someone and he just to tease and annoy SR made up some answer that led SR to not confess and just be friends for this long time. As for her loving her ex, when we are in a realtionship for a long time, just say even 2 years, we develop attachment and if the relationship seems to secure from all angles, people decide to get married
4. He did follow her there because he wanted to confess his feelings for her but then he found out that she was dating so he decided to let it go

I just read a few commets saying that SR might be terminally ill when she took one year off and they are now relating it with her saying no for that public bath and all that because her mom might see her scars. Personally I don't think that she would be terminally ill because after that year's break she did work for 3 more years before coming back to Korea, I guess if the scar theory is anyway true, then it can also be possible that SR had a bad accident in the past and it took her a year to recover, like accidents do leave scars and traumas, can also stir uo suppressed depression

Well it won't be melodramatic if they add the positivity of the characters to it. I checked on the web, depression can lead to nosebleeds, it can be possible that she was in a long term depression back then when she was in states and now she did quit not to put jerself back in the situation but things aren't right at her home either so she can be having a relapse of depression or may be slight anxieties or panic attacks. Moreover since her ex is going to be back in next episode, it is quite possible that what happened to her back then might be revealed and that might bring the leads together

Well does any one has any theory regarfing what actually happened to SR during that one year when she took the break

Well can be related to something that happened to her back then when she was in States, like when she took 1 year off

Well feeling sad for dr. Ji but I am really happy with the end. Personally I didn't want any of the characters to get a sad ending since they all had their reasons for doing what they did (the reason may be unreasonable but being an asian I know how hatred can grow in families and the anguish and anxiety if they take toll on you, you can be really unreasonable). So I am very happy for everyone. Btw we will get to see about FXZ and GRR's happy family but what about our YS and ZJ, its not fair to end all this pain with just a sweet proposal 😢

And what about the other characters?? I am interested about them too!!
