I know right, Flander, Oscar, Ning Rong Rong, and Xiao Gan are the only ones who make facial expressions.
People tell me Xiao Zhang can act but as somebody who hasn't watched anything else he's in, the only conclusion I can come to after this drama is that maybe he had some botox and couldn't move his face for most of this, just stands there with a blank expression all the time.
That scene where the clan leader was talking about how much they want to get a 9 leveled pagoda spirit while Rong Rong is counting how many levels her pagoda has LOL

Of course novel/anime/manga fans are not the only audience but we are part of the audience, and we have as much right to comment on the work as anybody else. Discussions are about a variety of views coming into contact with each other and how dramas relate to their source material is as valid a point of discussion as any other.
I don't see people with negative opinions of dramas telling people with positive opinions to be quiet and it boggles my mind why people who like shows feel the need to suppress the voices of people who don't.

I actually find the main girl pretty good? She has a Tsundere-type role and unlike a lot of the other similar female lead I've seen this year (Legend of Awakening and Great Ruler leads come to mind) she's very expressive physically. So even if she doesn't have emotive lines she still emotes clearly with her eyes and posture and whatnot.
