The comments are really making me laugh it's sad. Do you know the General public viewership of this series was actually good cause the TV version didn't have NC scenes this series though not perfect was actually good that people tuned in to watch on TV. I for one have tried to sit through all the bl people where hyping and I've failed to complete or even start any. I don't even understand how people sit through something they didn't enjoy when I drop i don't look back. Or even bare through a boring series to the end just because there is a pair I like I will just go look for their cuts. BLs have become predictably boring so TNP was fresh and new i loved every minute of it. But to each their own I guess 🤷🏾♀️

There was no conclusion only "what if's" none of us can prove what happens behind the partner selection. Whether Leng did or did not deserve to be paired with ohm and someone better could have been chosen it doesn't matter. All i see is what he has shown that he is and is going to be an excellent actor and partner lm looking forward to what they will bring next. In life there are no coincidences or mistakes every has a purpose so lets y it had to be Leng

If it was a popular pairing i would say the ratings are biased hence having high ratings but this is a new pairing whose fanbase is just growing. There are people who genuinely enjoyed the series even with its flows AND speaks volume. THERE are shows that are perfect but not enjoyable to watch and shows that are not so perfect but touch the heart of the viewers and that what this series has done. Could they do better definitely but this was a fun series and for that i rate it dare i say 10/10 cause i enjoyed every episode even with the holes but that just me🤷♀️ its not always abt what should have been done what shouldn't have been done. Some times chemistry does steal the show and what ohmleng have is beautifully destructing.

What if Leng was the only one willing to do this with Ohm. There must have been a list of other actors yes but that doesn't mean all want to do Bl .there also is the chemistry of both actors to put into account. And going into pairing with the person who was in a popular ship like Ohm's leng is still experience the effect of that. Leng will get better he wont do it by watching on the sidelines he is lead worthy
One of the best BLs this year for me the first for me to watch as it airs i've Loved this journey. I was kept at the edge of my seat every episode that came out i had to watch twice due to being excited as it premiered was it perfect mayb not but i haven't enjoyed BL in a while so this was a breath of fresh air 4 me it felt like 2016 again wen i started my bl journey. My rewatch value is 10/10 for me. Thank you ohmleng for delivering what i expect in a pairing.
The plot of kidnapseries is MinQ. That is all they shown. how they met; how the fell in love; how they struggled to keep together; how are started dating how they resolve misunderstandings and the last two episodes will show how far they are Willing to go for that love. every other plot is extra to their story. For me its the best series out this year cause everything had become boring kdramas and Bls too
If you want to watch something and you're not sure if its good. I just realised MDL isn't the standard. They are interesting series that are reviewed low and boring series that are reviewed highly. Some times if there is no bias ness the reviews would be truthful. i recommended going and watching at least half the series if it still not your cup of tea and u decided to drop pliz don't comeback and review something you haven't completed just drop and move on.
What I've noticed is Leng has a hard time conveying some of the negative emotions. He has the positive ones nailed but the negatives (sadness , anger, etc) are a bit challenging. Maybe since he is such a positive ray of sunshine drawing the negative maybe a bit difficult but he's doing a good job. Once he gets the hang of it he'll be unstoppable. He has a good mentor for a partner.
Kidnap is one of the very few bls I've been able to watch as it's airing. BLs have been boring for me for a while now. Even the ones airing along side this one haven't really picked my interest enough I'm never pulled into the story. I've been able to watch and enjoy it without nitpicking at Directing, acting , plot or writing coz it does take away the enjoyment. Min&Q have pulled me into their story that even though they are faults i can't see them. Kidnap has made me a viewer. it reminded me of when i started bl 2016 the stories weren't perfect but it was such a joy to watch. And kidnap is Even better than those First Bls standard wise. For me its Excellent 10/10 I'm so excited for the episodes left😍
I think Min being so into Q already isn't so shocking though its rare someone falls that fast. i saw i story of where a guy proposed 9 days after meeting his wife and now they are married with kids. I don't think I'm that lucky though sadly it would take me a year. This ep was excellent, Ohm song perfect. Ohmleng they are so cute my first ship. i didn't think i would ship any pair but these two are not giving me an option.
I think the reason y leng acting is fluctuating between Good and not so good sometimes is cause of the different Q's being put together. i think for the first Q's he was still getting the hang of acting and as filming progressed he got better. He is doing a really good job as a firstimer.
But to each their own and thats ok. No hard feelings really
