I CANT BELIEVE I JUST STARTED THIS, WHERE HAVE I BEENN??? I'm on ep 1, it's so hilarious, I love it, the cast expressions are spot on, it's so human, not stoic!! The filming is well so donee, they're experimenting many shot angles, it gives comedic effects, and a charm, like when they're introducing a new character into the show. I can keep rambling about how much they've put efforts into shooting this, haha. Anyway I very enjoy it so far!

The drama remains largely faithful to the novel and benefits from a very strong aesthetic. The world-building…
This was very helpful, I was wondering if they respected the source material and if I should give a chance to the novel, been quite lazy lately XD
On He Yu Dec 13, 2025
Person He Yu
Man I gotta say, his gaze and smirk is really charming, it felt real and affectionate, it carried the tension in the Cdrama Speed and Love.

One day if possible Please I want to see this side of him but as villain character, that would be sick 😳

Wow, this drama is starting out phenomenal. Cheng Yi is sensational as XH. Love the cold and ruthless character…
Omgg, I didn't know Uncle Wu would be there, a reason to start watching now XD

I wish recent dramas were more like this. It's authentic, it speaks, and it reaches to the audiences. Time to re-watch it <3

I’m also a novel reader and as much as I love the drama adaptation, I also felt abit of disappointment. I feels…
So true. I wish they had done a better job of luring us viewers into becoming more emotionally invested in her revenge. Maybe it’s because they removed the husband’s betrayal plotline, along with the fact that she was pregnant at the time? I feel the drama was too straightforward, never leaving us to wonder who was behind it and why they did this to her, which made it far less angsty.

I love the novel too and I was looking forward to the drama but I don't know it feels like there's something missing..…
From my perspective, the biggest missing piece was the friendship between He Yan and the Yezhou Garrison! In the novel, it was much more detailed and wholesome! Every side character had their own voice and background, which drew me in and made me look forward to their appearances back later arcs. They were taken seriously, and I feel that depth was what the drama lacked in favor of comedic moments. They should have balanced it out more TT

Especially Wang Bao, ugh, I love him so much!! He started off as such a bully and cocky that I really despised him, but over time I grew to like how he came to accept her. In the drama, the fast pacing of her challenging her opponents felt too sudden tbh, and that gradual emotional shift from hating Wang Bao to loving him just wasn’t there the way it was in the novel. You can say I really love the Yezhou Garrison Training Arc, really one of the big majors that made me stay and read until the end, it was so entertaining XD
Also, I'm so glad to know that you're a novel reader hehe

As a novel reader, this drama was quite disappointing, but I’m still glad it received an adaptation. It definitely made me want to reread the novel, which truly deserves recognition for its emotional depth, well-developed characters, and slow pacing that allows the reader to fully enjoy its natural execution.

The Chinese "fans" don’t want a story. They want a personal fanfic where their CP gets 48 minutes of…
Ong, they're so insufferable and inconsiderate. Like, what do they even learn there? No sense of morality at all when it comes to BL, I'm part Chinese but what the hell, it's embarrassing.

I’ve seen this kind of respect in other shows that deal with death and the coroner who preforms the autopsy.
yess, love this drama
