Title About Love Spoiler
Episode 25: after leaving Bei, Xiaoxi meets Gong - who confess to her and ask her something like "even for…
My opinion is that she never had real feelings for Gong. She found him a friend she could trust to accept her past, and could learn about Bei from him. She was always pretty good about drawing a line with him.

I think his out of the blue confession and pursuit didn’t fit his character at all.

I also think the whole ambiguity and drooping flower scene was more about her saddness at yet another man falling in love with her and not respecting her feelings (she was crying for gods sake Gong!). Her past was littered with these types. Gong’s confession on the heels of Bei’s rejection, just made her sad.

Also, because I think Xiaoxi really does love BEI, she felt dismay at how her mess was going to effect their relationship.

Now whether that was actually conveyed properly by the director is another story!

Of course, her inability to reject him immediately hints that she does have some feelings. So maybe I’m wrong above and you should ignore this entirely! 😂

so she tells her bf(ML) at his lowest that "she found a rich man for her"what was she expecting ??then…
Seriously! That woman made me insane. Well, now that you are successful, I want you back in my life. … And she left him! He didn’t chase after her, but she left when he said to give the money back. I didn’t want a happy ending for her! 😡😂

The actress who plays An Miu always gets this “relationship spoiler” role. I feel sorry for her! I was happy to see she was funny and a good friend in something. Usually when I see her appear on screen I’m like “NO! She’s going to ruin my couple dreams!

Can I just say - think what you want about this drama, but it has so many people talking in the comments! Not beating up the actors, or whatever (except for the wigs…really, who thought those were a good idea) but about real issues: is a non physical relationship, with a soulmate type person really “cheating” (I’d say yes, sadly). Is Bei too boringly perfect? (I say no. In a life partner, he’s a good choice. Also, I really think he’s going to have some issues coming up). What about Gong and FL? They have more scenes together and she trusts him to be a pig, so she is ok showing her real self to him. Does this mean they should be a couple? They definitely have more chemistry than she does with LYN. I had to laugh at a scene where Gong made a comment alluding to Bei having had sex with her and Bei is like, “of course she’s receptive. We aren’t teenagers.”… so much what this old lady wants to yell out to fans who think their 25 year old sexiest people on earth are not dating/hooking up or whatever. Is her career immoral? She entered this using her super allure power to try to make things better for women paired with pigs. Did she go overboard? Does she share some of the blame for the breakups because her charm is unavoidable when she turns it on? … I personally don’t think so but it has an ick factor, and I like how the show is also making her start questioning what she is doing.

Whatever episode I’m on, Bei’s old friend is taking photos of FL and the very dubious psychiatrist (NO real psychologist or psychiatrist - even a student - is going to a movie with a client as they will put their license and degree at risk but whatever). And she seems to be on the phone with Bei. Is he/she spying on her? Or the psychiatrist? Is this a set up from the creepy madam? Anyway, lots going on and lots to ponder. And different - for that, I’d give it 10/10. And because LYN is still gorgeous in ugly clothes and wigs. I don’t care! ❤️😉

I am always miffed when a drama I love has a lower score than a drama I didn’t love - or isn’t even there!! 😂
It is fascinating to check these though, and I really appreciate you taking the time to post and update the lists. My favorite is when I look at the scores and something like Joy of Life S2 (Tencent post) has moved even higher.

On The Truth Season 3 Jun 29, 2025
In the last few episodes, didn’t it seem like Liu Yuning had to keep rounding up the others and making them focus? Reba is good at quickly refocusing after a diversion to twirl, or laugh at something. The others — 😂. They are all engaged and contributing, it’s just that they seem to wander off — spinning sticks, snacking, side chats, looking for more clues. Oh ZLH and the mega phone! And the bicep curls with an axe 😅. I have to watch twice. First to read subtitles and then to see what everyone is doing. So funny.

It was good to have Reba back. They all know each other so well, it must have been very hard for Shen Yue.

I'm never letting them go, ever!❤️
In anticipation of Eternal Brotherhood 2, I have been watching Eternal Brotherhood 1 after my morning dose of Wei Shao. Liu Yuning is one of the 3 brothers, but his part is pretty small. It’s disappointing! I liked Legend of Arle, because there he really has a leading role.

Dream within a Dream is supposedly arriving this summer! I think it will be good.

POB is like A Journey to Love in that it’s easy to fall in love with LYN’s character along with our leading lady.

I like the show (the llama was ridiculous fun). However, I don’t get why the writer is having these one nice…
The more I watch, the more I love the show. The unintentional hurt each has inflicted on the other (even the way she keeps trying to make things better deepens his feelings, which makes her departures hurt him more) is because they are sensitive, normal people who, like all of us, can hurt someone else without meaning to.

I think this is the answer to my own question. The fantasy part is fun and makes TQ “wake up” to SCC charms sooner. I really love the best friend who just goes along with everything - but she too has been hurt (parents divorce and leave her) and SCC family has “adopted her”…same these of someone unintentionally causing hurt and another person helping them heal.

So there you go, self! 😂

I like the show (the llama was ridiculous fun). However, I don’t get why the writer is having these one nice people make another nice person suffer like this? If he were more of a psycho jerk, or she was some sort of demon messing with him, I’ understand her purpose a bit better. He’s a sympathetic character though so I’m a bit confused.
