Except for Shoma, the casting was horrendous
Agreed, I feel like he understood the assignment and actually read/watched the source material. The rest were pretty terrible in the acting department...

Agreed! There's way too much going on in this series that it's difficult to make "any" sense of it.
I was getting by until episode 5 and then I couldn't work out anything - nothing happened whilst simultaneously lots of people died and none of it made sense! I can no longer sail on this ship alone...
