This was going well till it fell off the rails at ep 35/36 for me, why did the queen dowager just suddenly decide to hand over power to the black fiend guy for absolutely no reason when she was already mad at him for causing the death of her court music guy? Then after that she just gets suddenly ill which lets the black fiend go after all his enemies with ruthless abandon

Started watching at 1.50X pace just to hurry to the end but this show failed to stick the landing, disappointing
