I’m not sure if anyone replied to your question yet. I was worried about the same thing in the beginning, but don’t worry, he doesn’t fall in love with him because of the heart donor. It’s also specified by the characters. The heart donor only serves the purpose of indirectly bringing the mc to the village. It’s a really heartwarming and beautiful story.

It’s a bit early for me to talk about character development, but it looks very promising and the storyline is engaging indeed! I was referring to the fact that he’s the best at what he does and he’s a bit arrogant about it, and he likes to be on his own, to focus on himself and not engage much with others (much like Bai Luo Yin <3). I love the way he plays this type of character.
