Who uses a person and hurts them on purpose knowing they have feelings for you to make them “forget” about you, so that you can go back to being friends, how did Khai expect that to happen?!! it was a pretty stupid thing to do...
I hope you’re right! Even though I wouldn’t call unrealistic a gay man marrying a woman to “fit into” a society which would judge them otherwise. I think it was and it still is a sad reality in many places.
It didn’t happen (yet), I just watched the first episode, but by a conversation they had (Jun and the man he’s seeing) and by how Jun behaves it seems that they think that, at the end, the logic thing to do is to find a girl, in fact it looks like it’s what Jun is doing, he’s trying to find a girl who would understand him, probably just as a friend, but since the girl likes him I hope they don’t end up together just because “it’s the right thing to do”, so that he can have all the “normal” things all the other men can have, like a family with kids .-. I hope it goes into a different direction.
One of the best dramas I’ve watched! It covered so many different themes and it’s just beautiful the way it’s been made! Loved it!! It’s been so much fun!! I’m so happy we got subs, I’m so thankful to the person who subbed this, we would have missed out on an amazing drama otherwise :D
Define "bl scenes." People always expect nudity, intimacy, and hot scenes when it comes to gay dramas, but are…
sorry for being too vague, but by bl scenes I didn’t mean anything sexual, I just meant that everything is implied and it’s still understandable that they like each other, but maybe from my comment people would misunderstand and think that there was a confession of their feelings or something along those lines and have expectations for things that are not there. I don’t know how to explain it very well, but a relationship can be portrayed explicitly even without sexual things, even a kiss, but maybe saying that they are together or something like that, but this movie is different, it doesn’t have any of that. I just didn’t want to mislead people with my comment, someone could think that there’s actually nothing between the two after watching the movie because it’s not explicitly confirmed by the two. Also, I think many heterosexual dramas are very unrealistic with how they portray relationships, especially women in love/ a relationship, or maybe I just can’t relate, so... The last thing I wanna do is fetishize gay people, I condemn that myself. I really enjoy BL dramas, but I always try to point out “what is wrong with it” when it comes to portraying a relationship between two guys. I enjoy the ones which show more intimate scenes and the ones which don’t at all, if I like the plot and the characters have good chemistry nothing else matters. (and by good chemistry I mean just the way they interact, if it’s natural or not, the way they look or smile at each other, simple stuff). I really enjoyed this movie, it’s still one of my favorites, the only thing is that it would have been nice see what happens afterwards. I hope my point of view is clearer now.
2Moons has always had a special spot in my heart, so even with a different cast I still like it a lot and I can’t wait for the next episodes! I feel like I’m as excited as I was when I watched the first version :3 I can’t wait to watch the continuation of the story! I like all the new actors so far even if I still have to get used to them.
One last thing, it's very sad that gay men feel they must find a woman in the end to have the family they dream of because of how society perceives them. Like, if they were allowed to be together freely without being judged and mistreated they wouldn't feel the need to fool women...
I wish girls would stop fetishizing gay people... I really like bl (not all of them because there are many things wrong with a lot of them), but I find it disturbing when people are like that, especially when they were talking about forced kisses and stuff :/ I don't know where they are going with the story, but I hope how fujoshis are being portrayed is a way to show why it's wrong to be like that.. and also I will never understand people who like bl and don't support gay people in real life or "don't really understand them", it's absurd. It's so sad to see Jun hurt because that girl thinks gay people are just a fantasy. It's true that people tend to oversimplify the world, so if you have a characteristic that kind of stands out you'll become just that for them, it'll overshadow any other quality or interest you might have. I always think about that because it happened to me too, so it was nice to see them talking about this. I liked the first episode overall.
