I love how many scenes are exactly the same or very similar to what I had imagined while reading the novel.

Lan Zhan crying while holding an unconscious Wei Ying in his arms after knowing how he gave Jiang Cheng his golden core. What an heartbreaking and beautiful scene, I can’t take it off my mind. And the whole scene in the boat. The power of WangXian <3
Also the scene with the snow, LZ playing the guqin and WY drinking liquor in episode 43(?) was totally a confession scene where they swore to love each other forever and nobody can change my mind XD every time WY says “Lan Zhan” it’s like he’s confessing his love to him, there’s longing in his tone. Beautiful.

I don’t know, she just looks like a woman who was cheated on by her husband to be. But yeah, her storyline is very weird, because it seemed that she was interested in Bone at the beginning, but had to distance herself from him because she was his teacher, then they kind of get close again and it looks like something might happen between them, then her future husband is introduced and they make Bone edit their wedding stuff.. I was like wtf what’s the point in all this.

I’m not saying he wasn’t, but did she realize that? he really didn’t try hard enough... and I’m sure having lunch together wasn’t that necessary to help her.. There wouldn’t have been anything wrong with everything he did if she wasn’t interested in him, like when Third was working with An, there weren’t any ulterior motives. At least tell her you’re in a relationship!

I think he did. If you’re referring to the girl kissing him not being his fault I can understand. That is not the reason though. It’s actually because even though he knew the girl was interested in him he didn’t do anything to distance himself from her or make her understand that she should not cross the line, what does he do instead? He lets the girl get close to him and even introduces Third as his “best friend”, while Third didn’t hesitate to tell the guy at the bar that he already had someone, so that it was clear that he wasn’t interested, couldn’t Khai do the same thing? not only the girl would’ve understood what her place was, but he would’ve also demonstrated to Third how important he was to him and how much he loved him, as he claimed he did... but he didn’t do that, he decided to hide it and play along with the other guys who were interested in the girl, resulting in the “unwanted” kiss that Third saw, but Khai could’ve easily avoided that.

Totally! I mean at the beginning I decided to give the straight love story a chance because it looked a bit interesting, but it’s really not going anywhere, it’s just a mess.. and I feel sorry for Bone...

Ah I see what you mean. I too didn’t fall for the characters like I usually do. Maybe An is the only one. His storyline with Two is cute, nothing special though.

I don’t dislike Third, he just needs to learn how to love himself more.
oh really?? I didn’t know. Let’s still hope the story and characters are very different from these ones XD otherwise I think I’ll be unable to watch it this time, as I said the cast kept me watching ToL.

“For BL drama Khai has to be one of the most unlikable leads of all time.” I couldn’t agree more. Only one episode left and I wish Third would finally move on. Khai can repent and try to make things better as much as he wants and try to be forgiven but he will never change. I don’t see love from his part. Even if they get together in the end I can only see Third continuing suffering from this relationship.

Khai is one of the most unlikable characters ever... I never disliked/hated a main character in a bl I think, but he is the worst. I don’t even want them to end up together. This drama, plot wise, is a disappointment for me. If it wasn’t for OffGun, White, Earth.. I would have dropped this already. This story is very frustrating and I’m glad it will end next week.
I was starting to like him a little bit since the accident until episode 10, but after episode 11 I give up!

I'd say give it a chance. I was very skeptical too before watching it and after reading the synopsis. I put this in my list just because I knew Baifern and Saint were in it, but now I'm hooked! it's very good in my opinion. There are some strong themes like cheating and in one case (Chat and Rungrong) I wouldn't say it's justifiable, but I didn't care much about it; also the father doesn't fall in love, he's just very attracted to her physically. (he would cheat on his wife regularly with many different women).

I like Chat, he's been one of the few people on Nira's side since she was little.

I wasn’t expecting that, but he knows who she is and loves her for who she is, so.. I agree! for a moment I thought he could have done it to make her forget about Chat though ?

It’s true that many have this kind of scenario, but it doesn’t mean we have to accept it. There have been many BL in the last few years that portray healthy relationships and I like to support those. By this I don’t mean that I only watch fluffy stuff, I like dark themes too, but it can be done without sexual abuse between the couple. It’s not that I can’t handle it, it’s just wrong from my point of view. I don’t get how people can support such things.

I finally started this and I’m impressed! I had high expectations and it didn’t disappoint, at least for now. I like how different it is and it’s also well made. Baifern is fantastic as expected <3

I’ll give this a chance and then decide if I’ll keep watching it or not. I haven’t read the novel, but judging from people’s comments this doesn’t look like it involves consent... I think it’s ok when they show how bad of a thing r**** is, but as the start of a romantic relationship? no, thank you.

I completely agree. I’m a bit “scared” to keep watching it, the first episode was already hard to watch in a way. I thought the same about the bullying sigh.. I think this is going to be a long ride.

I started watching this because of Ong, the plot seems interesting and I can relate to some of Jun Woo and other characters’ aspects, so it’s a nice surprise. I don’t usually like this type of drama, but I’ll give it a chance. Since I never watch this type of drama I don’t know how cliché or not it is, so it doesn’t bother me.
