For me it was obvious why Tharn was doing this, but I don't get why he suddenly seem to like Type? He said "Why…
I was confused about that too! Like, since when?! There were no signs and he suddenly likes him? That didn’t make a lot of sense to me too since it was so sudden. When they showed the first time they met though maybe it was to show how nice and cute Type seemed to be to Tharn and he probably fell in love at first sight? since Tharn didn’t know Type hated gay guys yet and Type was nice because he didn’t know Tharn was gay.
I did not like him so much in what the duck but in here he was really a good casting choice. Plus it is just me…
I liked him A LOT in WTD (even though the story and characters weren’t the best, he delivered his pretty well) but yeah I don’t know how that’s possible that he’s even hotter in this ahah
I was reading the comments and I didn’t realize that Tharn was doing that for revenge and not just because he liked him, it was very obvious (Tharn wanted to see Type’s reaction the next morning) but my brain kind of ignored that for some reason (I blame it on Mew’s sexiness XD). I see that scene in a new light now. I don’t see it as romanticizing rape/abuse at all, it’s clear that it’s wrong and Tharn knows it very well, since he replied that he doesn’t do drunk guys to No, he just wants to mess with his mind since Type has been such trash to him. It’s still wrong, but not as bad as I thought. I can’t stand it when they try to portray it as an act of love, but that’s not what happens here at all.
It's so nice to see Mew in a drama again, it's been so long and he's such a good actor in my opinion :) I would have preferred if the last scene of ep.1 didn't happen... beside that it was great! and I appreciated the very nice quality of the English subtitles
The first episode was nice! I liked all the characters that were introduced, I hope we get a good development of each one of the storylines. It looks promising :) not the best acting though, I hope it improves as the episodes go on.
The story doesn't really make sense but I guess sometimes life is.. unexpected? I liked how the actors were able to express the right emotions in a few scenes and it was touching. Pretty boring overall in my opinion. It's short though, so it's not like I wasted a lot of my time.
You guys talking about a poly relationship, but I don't see that happening. It looks like a story where random…
I am one of the people rooting for the poly relationship, but I agree with you too! I mean, I would like for the three of them to end up together, but each of them going their own separate way in the end is totally realistic and believable. It it would be such a bitter ending though. I still hope they do end up together some way or another, like at least remaining in contact as very special friends even if not in a relationship. What i really like about this drama is that romance is not the main point in the story, even without it, it still remains a good drama!
I agree. I think people more have a problem with the poly-amorous relationship, so they're projecting.
I only watch dramas with happy endings too ahah I don’t care about how dark and sad is the stuff happening in the middle though, as long as it ends well or it has an open ending (only if it doesn’t involve something like rape or abuse, etc... at that point the “happy” ending is the characters NOT ending up together) I really can’t take sad endings. I always make sure a drama doesn’t have a tragic ending before watching it, but I can’t always avoid it, especially with the ones that are still airing. If people watching and enjoying any kind of romance is not the norm then I guess I’m in the minority XD I feel like I would miss out on many great stories if I didn’t! I feel like I can relate to characters based more on their personality, actions and way of thinking than their gender or orientation, but that’s just me, everybody’s different, I don’t think everyone should be like that :)

you like what you like and that’s fine obviously you can’t decide your tastes, but saying that dramas depicting straight romance are for straight people, gay romance is for gay people, poly is for bi/pan/women and so on isn’t very accurate, I don’t think it’s obvious that if you’re gay you only like to watch gay romance and if you’re straight you only like straight romance. For many people that’s not a reason to avoid a show or find it boring. In my case I like to watch anything that in my opinion has a good story/characters/actors the types of relationships are a secondary thing as long as they are represented in the right way. For example I avoid many dramas/shows that have straight romance in them because I don’t like how stereotypical the characters tend to be, especially girls.
