Okay so I watched this show up til ep 10 in one go as soon as 10 was out and genuinely liked it. It was slow,…
This is exactly how it made me feel. I didn’t know it would go this way and I’m sad and disappointed. I thought that only Sun’s condition was going to be the distressing element, but ironically it wasn’t at all.
I’m still trying to wrap my head around how this show went from a multiple couples uni romance to whatever it is now. And without any relationship development between the leads in 15 eps, I’m baffled.
I just found out about Mike being replaced by Gawin. I’m pretty happy about this because I love Gawin. Now, they just have to replace Krist and it’ll be perfect LOL (I don’t particularly like his acting beside Sotus) But I have to watch it before judging anything.
I just completed episode 5 and I came to console myself by reading comments here thinking we all felt the same…
I really like this drama too, Fahlan and Sher are also my favorites! I’m loving their development. But I also like mdl because people here like to express their honest opinion and not blindly praise anything they watch like it happens on other platforms. There’s always room for interesting discussions. As long as they’re not being rude or offensive, people’s critics are valid. I like to see a mix of opinions and I don’t take them too seriously. Often I agree with different points from both sides and it doesn’t take away from my enjoyment of the series.
So I’m on episode 4 and I like this series more and more. There’s something really awesome about queer characters being unapologetically queer. There’s not a single I’m-straight-but-I-only-like-you kind of man and it’s very refreshing. I love Fah and Sher together, Tap Ping and Gear Prince are also super adorable. The relationships are developing nicely and I also like the conflicts that are being introduced. I think that the story is well written and there’s no cringe to be detected. I liked how Fah wasn’t hypocritical and didn’t get mad at Tle for cheating and just let him go. It was mature on his part. The scene at the table with Sher afterwards was very cute and I found the bathroom/shower scene very sensual, the acting was very natural. Their chemistry is great. I find all the actors very charismatic and handsome, so I admit that might play a role in how likable I find the characters (even though I recognize their flaws). I guess that these guys get way too drunk way too often, but that might be realistic. So far what I dislike is the fangirls and the Cute Boy page which I wish would disappear… I wish that women would get better representation in bl. There are many series with supportive female friends, but far too many characters like Pink still unfortunately…
Agreed, both Mean and Krist said stuff but they are still accepted by their co-workers (actors). As public figures…
Bashing/hating on people is never a good thing. Personally, I prefer to focus on other kinds of artists, like the ones who openly support minorities or are a minority, and move on from the rest (I also don’t purposefully avoid them). I really don’t have any time or desire to be disappointed, but I understand if other people want to give them a second chance. Cancel culture isn’t productive for anyone.
For me this is just the Payoo is hot show at this point.
