It would makes sense to me if he also liked men, but maybe he hadn't realized it yet, and HY was the one who made him realize. Otherwise I feel like it's just another "I don't like men, I just like you" trope. I don't know if the fact that he looked for her in his past lives is enough to convince me. But I get why it makes sense to other people.
I liked the story and the chemistry between the leads, it has many cute moments, but it has too many flashbacks and the ending was anticlimactic and unnecessary.
