Isn’t it sad that he’s getting hired because they like him? Seems also a bit hypocritical of them. But it’s a really cute drama, the acting and pacing of the show are good and the food looks delicious! I don’t think I need to comment on the visuals! wow
Yes, in episode 6 he was adorable and despite having just a couple of lines he always shines for the great actor that he is. What do you mean by your comment?
Why is everyone gang-piling Jimmy? I think he's doing a great job - he's playing a super-sweet guy, which is admittedly…
I agree, he might not be the best actor, but he did quite well in this. Maybe it’s because I’m watching a series that’s airing right now with the most wooden acting I’ve seen in a while, so by comparison he was great.
I'm surprised to hear that, although I'm only half through the series so far. His suit in the first half is too…
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first look either, but it changes, and in the last couple of episodes he wears a few different suits which look really good on him imo and his hairstyle is also different. But yeah, he always looks good to me ahah
gosh I knew I was going to cry… this is such a beautiful series <3 I loved it from start to end. I’m so proud of the cast. This thai-korean collaboration has made me so happy! I want a season 2
I just found that Northern Thai is quite known for being spoken slowly (with a sweet sounding) compared to Southern…
I don’t know if you’ve watched Love Poison or Manner of death, both are set in the north and the characters use the northern dialect, but no one speaks slowly like that. And it’s not just speaking slowly, there are also a lot of awkward pauses in between sentences. It’s probably just Mark’s acting and the directing.
A mix of bad acting and poor directing is making this terrible to watch for me. I really don’t understand what happened to this series to be like this… who told mark to speak so slowly?
Define "bl scenes." People always expect nudity, intimacy, and hot scenes when it comes to gay dramas, but are…
It’s like we’re talking about different things… fantasizing about men is not fetishization… Also, remember that labeling someone doesn’t prove your point. If you’re not interested in the replies, don’t start a conversation. Maybe it’s my fault for engaging in it. Have a good day.

The point is, the ones who fetishize same-sex relationships are homophobic, because they see them as something different, taboo, and a fantasy, which shouldn’t be real, and often only “for the laughs”. That is problematic. Your last paragraph is exactly that. Just compare it with race fetishization and you’ll probably see the problem.
