I know that it’s really popular, but isn’t love at first sight kind of lazy to do in a series/movie? Like,…
yeah I don’t think you can build a relationship with just that… I don’t expect much, but at least a meaningful conversation in the next episodes.

I agree with you. I’m not talking about attraction, I’m talking about falling in love. I don’t think it can happen the moment you meet a person, and especially you won’t stare at them in the eyes for a long time.
I’m not saying it’s impossible, I just personally don’t believe it when I see it in a series.
By lazy I mean that they don’t show us the development of the characters falling in love because they already have from the get go. And I usually like to see that development, for me that’s what slow pace is.

Overall, I like it. High production quality.
I’m curious about the story, hopefully we’ll see more development from the next episode, because it has potential and the main couple has great chemistry. I don’t particularly care about the second couple, and they didn’t interest me from what they’ve shown so far. Also, as a big fan of Gameplay I wish he had a more prominent role, I get so happy every time he appears, and I think he’s probably the strongest actor of the cast. The actor playing Aue is good too.
I just hope we’ll get more substance from now on and less filler scenes.

Nothing wrong with love at first sight but I feel like I'm seeing it way to often lately and Idk what to think…
I know that it’s really popular, but isn’t love at first sight kind of lazy to do in a series/movie? Like, they don’t need to show how and why they fell for each other, that’s how it is.
It’s really hard to believe for me. It feels like only physical attraction, not love, because they don’t know each other.

Do agree that the pacing is really slow, but so far it's tolerable. Maybe they could've cut down unnecessary scenes…
You explained perfectly what I was thinking after watching episode 3.

Can you believe no one cut their hand on that broken plate? Also Aek not wearing socks in his converse was...hmm…
I was waiting for Aek to accidentally cut himself with the broken plates and then Aue trying to help him to put ointment on the cut XD I’m glad it didn’t happen. But it still wasn’t an amazing episode.

It’s a cute series, but I think that the directing makes the scenes feel awkward for how slow they are, with all those long stares and extremely slow delivery of their lines and pauses. It all looks way more dramatic than it needs to be. Like, they’re just casually talking, why be so serious? And it’s probably also the very stiff acting, but I still think that the director is mostly at fault.
We didn’t really get any relationship development, but they already seem so close, that I feel like I missed something. They meet for the first time and they’re already staring into each other eyes for way too long. I need development to immerse myself into the story, so I usually like slow paced series, but in this case there’s barely anything happening in every scene and that feels relevant to the plot.
I think that they could’ve fit everything that happened until episode 3 in one episode.

Why does Mark talk really slooww? And is Chef Prem supposed to be a robot character or the actor's acting is just…
I agree, I think that they seem already too close, when they just met. And they talk way too slowly.

Also, I’m sure that Earth would do a great job in a potential romance drama with Santa.

I'm guessing the actor playing the father isn't actually a singer and they couldn't fake the concert, so they…

I see your point, even though I don’t completely agree.
I do have an issue with pairing effeminacy with only being weak or over-the-top and predatory, because that screams stereotypes to me and is offensive especially with what they do with trans characters, but I don’t see the need for Earth to play in particular a more masculine man, since like you said the effeminate characters should still have variety and not be tied to stereotypes.

Just curious, would you say the same thing about men who act masculine in all of their roles and are masculine irl? Do you think that masculine men should also act in effeminate roles to be considered good actors?
Serious question, not trying to be rude.

I think I love this series already
Episode 2 was good too, I really liked the actress playing Pimdao, also loved seeing Earth again in this episode ...and Sammy >///< I'm anticipating her ep with Pineare so much!
