It would have been a great show if every episode had the same vibe of the last episode. The last episode was by far the best watch of the entire drama. Sad, so much potential with good actors thrown away...
Today's episode gave me Coffee Prince flashbacks with all the internal conflict and self-loathing the ML is going…
Yessss, I was thinking the same thing!! I wanna see the ML get anger like the ML in Coffee Prince when he finds out. This guy is in so much pain, it hurts my heart to watch.
After watching episode 7 my opinion: 1. They are not compatible even a little bit 2. The script is poorly written (very repetitive and lacking flow) 3. They are both annoying as heck...
The "zero chemistry" comments are starting to be predictable... this or I am watching a premium version of the…
I agree with the no chemistry statments but I am still enjoying the drama. Their chemistry is not even forced, it's absolutely non-existent lol. I have seen both leads in dramas where I can feel the chemistry bouncing off the screen, sadly this is not it. I will definitely continue watching despite the lack because the drama is painless and easy.
So.. we got a wedding but not the one we want. This is sad but I thought the parents were more interesting to…
I 100% agree, definitely a 7/10. The actors were good but I think the characters personalities and the story telling style (either by director or script writer) didn't really make it easy for the actors to portray anything better than what was shown.
Me during the last 5 mins of Episode 13: 🎵 Said I loved you but I lied, cause this is more than love I feel inside 🎵 😂... This episode felt a bit cringe, I had to cover my face a couple times watching it, both with the main couple and second lead couple.
I'm not gonna lie, I like Seok-ryu's ex better than Seunghyo. Her ex is so communicative while everyone else in this drama is afraid of themselves and it's damn annoying to watch. If Seok-ryu and Seung-hyo were not childhood friends, there would be no logical reason to believe they could be romantic love interest. He is always angry/cold and dramatic while she is closed off/guarded and uninterested around him. 10 episodes of dramatics with no real understanding of her feelings for him makes this drama look less and less promising.
That's because it is 34 - 43 min episodes but 21 - 90 min episodes.
I completely understand your point it would definitely be easier but I believe MDL's episode format always reflects the original airing format. I believe it's the same with the Kdrama "Extraordinary You", on streaming platforms it shows 16 episodes but on MDL it shows 32 episodes which actually correspondes to the caption shown before each episode starts.
I will never watch Alchemy of Soul 2 because they left out Jung So Min. They should have given her the contract.
I heard she had another commitment at the time of filming which is why they had to cast someone else. You should watch season 2, it was also really good!
Even when shows say "im going to US for freedom" or some bullshit, its cause US in a country in North America.…
I honestly believe naming a specific country in Africa would have seemed offensive to the persons of that country. Then they would state that everywhere in that country is not underdeveloped and lacking of water so they should not be generalized. I think they played it safe stating it in the way they did, to avoid even more kickback.
Is it normal for people in Korea to get colonoscopies that young? Like, as part of a work-funded medical too?
Hahaha, I was wondering the same thing, Lmao, I know it is usually not required until you are 45 and older (which they clearly aren't), plus it is super expensive.
I don't think I am understanding the issue everyone is having, so please feel free to enlighten me if you must. The main plot point of using his trip to Africa is to show that the male lead was volunteering in an area in Africa that needed assistance in becoming more developed. Why would the male lead need to volunteer in a developed metropolitan area in Africa, how would he volunteer there??! Descendants of the sun did the same thing when sending the special forces to a remote underserved area that needed their help. I am not seeing how this is offensive??!
