However, I did feel bad for Made and Mocha, but as I commented on YouTube, unclear relationships are draining. I was so proud of Made for no longer wanting to hide and cutting his relationship with Mocha for his own peace of mind.
Drake is my love!! Every series I have watched him in, he has my undivided attention. First because of his eyebrows and then his acting!! This episode is another indicator that he needs to be main lead in a series! He really does have chemistry with anyone he works with.

This is why I appreciate this adaptation even more because it’s even more apparent the mental gymnastics Akin is going through and those waves of emotions he has to deal with, along with his status and reputation as an actor on the line too. Hopefully Akin makes a conscious decision to limit his drinking to just one drink from now on. 😮💨

This episode was more emotional than the anime.I really hate that they didn’t have Akin explain the situation. It made me not feel sorry for him when he chose to get out of the car and Jin left. Lack of clarity and communication is one of my least favorite tropes to see, but this was done brilliantly!But good news for those concerned, (all of this is from what happened in the anime but using the series character’s names)Johnny didn’t end up having sex with Akin. And Jin got Johnny back by blackmailing with a voice recorder when Johnny confirmed that he sleeps his way to the top. Also Jin knew Akin didn’t have sex with Johnny because he could tell from Akin’s body if he had. After they made up, Akin agrees to live together with Jin.But more drama awaits for Akin and Jin (if they keep with the anime’s initial plot and bring in the tabloid photographer, Jiro).Fantastic performance all around especially from Boom! Looking forward to next week!

After watching “Fatal Journey” last night, Nie HuaiSang is definitely a new favorite character because that gave me further insight and I definitely got chills when he bowed to Meng Yao at the end of that film.
Jiang’s character was so good! But anytime he cried, it broke me! 😭 That and he is too fierce. Just the stares that he will give when he is displeased or “I wish you would” reminded me of myself growing up. 😅
Update: Finished the series on Monday and there are no words to describe how incredible this was!!!
I’m so glad I spent so many hours binging and just enjoying the journey of LWJ and WWX!! Also Jiang Chang and Wen Ning are two of my favorite characters aside from the MLs!!! Truly remarkable performances from these four individuals!!
I will gladly rewatch this series again and again!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
