Love entrapped in LIES.....BUT hearts ❤️❤️remain SINCERE
I honestly loved watching this drama; I enjoyed each moment and kept anticipating more. 😍😍 The BEST WUXIA.....💯💯SYNOPSIS
The story begins with the Qingyun Tournament, in which the ML and FL compete. The FL gets poisoned and loses the tournament. She discovers that the ML has the antidote and sets out on a journey to retrieve it. This journey leads to the entanglement of the FL and ML in a web of lies and deception...🕸🕸🕸
*JI BOZAI (ML): 😍🤩I loved this character the most. Sincere, soft-hearted, and genuine. He redefined love as a selfless gesture. (Love is doing something without expecting anything in return.) He kept falling for the FL's lies and tricks, which may look frustrating, but one cannot hate this character.
*MING YI (FL):🤪🫠 Quick-witted, funny, and has a lot of tricks up her sleeve. She may be an annoying character who lies to the ML quite a bunch of times and doesn't clear the misunderstandings between them. Though lying is not good in a relationship, her heart was always sincere toward the ML. (One can say her mouth speaks one thing and her heart speaks otherwise.)
*Their relationship began with lies. Then they used each other and kept testing each other. The ML fell first, and the FL got entrapped in her lies and fell harder. Both of them tore each other apart, but these two souls can never really be apart.
*The story is very simple and fast-paced. The romantic moments—them teasing each other and publicly displaying their emotions—add spice to the show and make the audience crave more.😍😍
*Maybe I hoped there would be a stronger villain. I never wanted the pitiful Situ Ling's character to turn darker. His obsession with protecting the FL initially, then wanting her for himself, was not very exciting. His character had the potential to remain as the FL's brother rather than an obsessive stalker.
*I loved the ML and FL's companion beasts; they were so cute. They always helped the ML and FL get through the hardships.😻😻🐉🐉
*I also liked the princess character and her love story. She was cute and her friendship with the main leads was refreshing to watch.
*Their costumes and setting were all good. The action sequences didn't disappoint. Special mention to the cute pics at the end of each episode.
OVERALL: LIGHT-HEARTED, FUN TO WATCH, ROMANTIC TENSIONS AT THEIR PEAK.💘💘🏔🏔

The Husband Trap: From Playing House to Puppy Love??
LIGHT-HEARTED HISTORICAL ROM-COM 😍😍The entire story was chaotic, fun-filled, and somewhat engaging. The first few episodes begin with confusion, and in between, the story drags, but it ends well.
I really liked the ML's husky voice; his subtle gestures carry the show. Costumes and makeup were top-notch.
The FL also did a pretty good job. Be it innocent wife or archenemy, both roles were convincing.
The ML's character deceives the FL and makes her believe that she is his wife. The ML starts the "playing house" game, but somewhere in the middle, things start becoming real. But the badass FL is not a pushover; she gets back at him. Then our ML becomes a puppy who follows the FL around and is very persistent in getting her back.
The entire story is mainly carried by our main leads. The second lead story was just a filler which had no depth. His character is difficult to interpret. The political drama occurring in this drama was slightly boring. Maybe if they could have cut short the household drama, it would have been better.
Besides having many plot holes, the story is funny; the mesmerizing leads carry the story too well.

First half ....AMAZING?....Second half......hmmmmm??
The story utilizes the enemies-to-lovers trope, which I thought was executed exceptionally well and felt very convincing. In a nutshell, the plot centers on the Female Lead (FL), who loses her memory after being shot and falling off a cliff. She is determined to find out how she fell and who shot her, so she joins hands with her mortal enemy, the Male Lead (ML). Together, they confront many secrets and betrayals.WHAT I LIKED
.I liked that the main mystery was resolved relatively early in the show—the female lead quickly found out who shot her (perhaps a little too quickly!).
I also genuinely appreciate her character. She is incredibly strong and resourceful; she saves the ML many times and is certainly not a pushover. Her philosophy is clear: she repays kindness 100-fold and evil 1000-fold.
.The ML's acting is superb, and he is undeniably an eye-candy. Similarly, the performance of the Emperor Of Jinxiu was strong, portraying a character who is toxic, but still appealing to watch.
WHAT I DISLIKED
.I really disliked how the show went off track in the second half. It introduced too many new characters and focused heavily on unnecessary revenge plots from the side characters.
.It would also have been better if the writers had more thoroughly explained the villain’s character. They should have shown more of his suffering or motivation. Instead, his character was bland, driven only by a shallow obsession with the FL.
. Finally, the Princess’s character was living in her own fairy tale until the second half of the show when she finally came to reality. However, she was far too late in grasping many feelings and situations. I don't exactly like or dislike her character overall, but there were times when she was very annoying...

CRINGE AND THE CAPTAIN.......
KIND OF OVERRATED CRINGE DRAMA...I have a kind of mixed feeling about this drama. I neither liked nor disliked it. The team spirit was good, the romantic moments were cringe, and the games were breathtaking. Though I am not fond of playing video games, the way they played the games was compelling.
The ML, as a captain of the team, performed well, but he was a clingy boyfriend. He did have good traits, such as being protective, supportive, unbiased, and a role model for the entire team.
The FL was professionally strong but kind of emotionally weak. She was inspirational as she was the only female esports player.
The ML and FL as a couple didn't stand out. I would rather prefer them as professional companions.
I would love to appreciate their entire team. It was their interactions that kept the momentum till the end. They had their own struggles and some mishaps, but they never gave up as a team.
This drama did point out cyberbullying. They showed how fans could boost up their morale but, at the same time, destroy them.
The perks of being a popular player were well depicted. This drama didn't only show the pros of being a popular player but also the cons. It showed that the players have a life for themselves, too.

A Bittersweet Landing: Great Premise, Half-Baked Execution????
I kind of have a mixed opinion about this drama. I liked the premise, but somewhere in the middle it went off-track and ended bittersweet. 😶🌫️😶🌫️*I really liked the ML character. 😍😍He thought he was a supporting character in the game that he had created, but he certainly underestimated his potential. The entire story is about him learning to love himself, being confident, and facing reality.
*ML's acting was amazing. He did a good job in portraying the emotions. Be it his childlike behavior, the innocent looks, or his pitiful face, one cannot stop loving him. His costumes and his white hair look were the best...😍😍
*The FL's character was supposed to help the ML realize his emotions and help him face reality. She did help him, but her character didn't stand out. Also, her childlike acting and her voice were kind of annoying, but still digestible.
*The second couple had stories of their own, but the stories didn't have an impact. It was kind of bland. I really liked the Bamboo Shoot character. It was cute and energetic. The music was also good.
*I think this drama is overrated. I felt most of the elements in this story were half-baked. It all started as a game, but in the middle, the game turned out to be some fantasy drama, and in the end, it finished as a melodrama. 😅 But anyway, I liked the emotional twist in the end.

FATED HEARTS ❤️❤️POWER COUPLE
SECOND CHANCE – MAKING RIGHT CHOICES... 🚶♀️🚶♀️*This drama is definitely a good watch with strong leads, an intriguing story, and perfect execution. The slow-paced romance with some political drama keeps one hooked till the end.
*I really liked the FL. She is smart, supportive, and independent. She knows how to handle her own problems and always keeps the ML in check.😍😍
*The ML is the best companion one could wish for. He is kind-hearted, passionate, and loyal. But he is impulsive. He lives in his lonely world and yearns for a family.😻😻
*ML and FL together are a power couple. They trust each other, communicate well, and are fated for each other. Both ML and FL come from broken families and suffered from betrayals, but they kept healing each other. The FL teaches the ML to be patient and prevents him from taking impulsive decisions that could lead to his downfall. They fulfill the promises they made to each other.❤️❤️
*When life gives a second chance, grab the opportunity to make the right choice so that justice is served and the world is at peace. The story depicted most men as scumbags. I think the story definitely gave justice to all. (KARMA IS A BOOMERANG).💯💯
*This story did show that no one is born evil. One harbors evil intentions because of the wrong choices they make.
*The scene that I particularly liked is the ending scene when the FL shoots the enemy and saves the ML. That was a badass scene.💀💀
*I also liked the grey-haired ML. He looked stunning.😍😍

Nerve-Wrecking Twists That Keep You on the Edge??️??
*This drama is certainly a good watch. The mysteries behind each case are definitely nail-biting and keep you on the edge.
*The ML and FL form a great partnership while unfolding the mysteries, but the romance part didn't really hit.
*The ML is a green flag . He supports and understands her, but the one thing I didn't like was him jumping to save her every time she's in trouble.
*The FL is smart and independent; she definitely knows how to save herself, but the ML saving part seems unrelated to the story.
*But the story definitely keeps the audience engaged. This drama doesn't seem like a typical historical drama. The autopsies, the crime scene setups, and the cadavers were all precise.

No LEGEND??just a mediocre story.......
The story begins with the Battle of Mingsui. The blame for its defeat is pinned on the Male Lead's (ML) father. Determined to clear his father's name, the ML sets out on a journey to unravel the conspiracy behind the loss. Meanwhile, the Female Lead (FL), a masked general impersonating her brother, suffers betrayal and is sentenced to death. However, life gives her a second chance to prove herself and reclaim what was rightfully hers. Did the ML avenge his father's death????Did the FL get what she deserved????*ML and FL did have a couple of sweet moments, yet something was missing. Though their love story was not very convincing, I really liked how the FL proposed to the ML: "I love the moon but the moon doesn't know."
*Second ML's character was okay till episode 33, then his character development went downhill.
*The FL's brother as a villain had potential but was just wasted. His inferiority complex and foolish plots did not add any spice.
*The Prime Minister, who is supposedly very intelligent, takes absurd decisions at the end and gets caught.
*The rest of the characters were like add-ons; none stayed in my head.
*It would have been better if the story ended at episode 33; the final episodes took the story totally off-track.
*The story had very few scenes about how the FL disguised as a man became the great General Feihong and about her relationship with her eight comrades. Also, her early life and hardships weren't explained thoroughly.
*This show did talk about concepts like how females should be given the freedom to do what they like and pursue a career of their own. The idea was good but could have been portrayed better.
OVERALL THE STORY DIDNT LIVE UP TO IT'S TITLE.....🫠🫠🚶♀️🚶♀️
