..because I'm not in the business of watching failed romances. I think people in similar shoes are safe to do the same, because this is great, really enjoyed it!
Kim Jae Won has been decent & Kim Go Eun always kills it. Their chemistry could've been better, but it's not bad.
This is quite close to the best -chill- kdrama romcoms I can recall & it's a noona romance too. I tend to nitpick a lot, but there is nothing much here I can nitpick about. Everything is way above average & the cells are really funny and cute.
Speaking of cells, I think this is a great concept. Kdramas are almost always really tropey, well here is a potentially amazing trope for future dramas to adapt. Of course there is no reason to call them cells, I'm sure there are other slightly different flairs kdrama writers could use to avoid getting sued. This is so much better than seeing the same exact love triangle for the 2132131th time & it helps making the unavoidable texting conversations way more fun. (which is actually a challenging & largely unavoidable problem in modern TV shows)
As for the 8 episode format I think it's pretty good in this case & considering the plot I wouldn't even call it too rushed. Despite the lack of complexity the scriptwriter should be praised, the pacing is pretty good & the ending is unusually well done too.
