I hear a lot of displeased remarks, but I found this movie to be excellent and highly underrated. Highly recommend!

This movie depicts the challenges and struggles human beings experience at some point in life. Life and death is inevitable and there will come a day when love ones are separated. The actors and actresses were exceptional in expressing these emotional scenes, so do be prepared to shed some tears.

This movie has to be purchased, rent, or an add on subscription on all platforms that I’ve come across. Found a site to watch it free with English subtitles:

The length of the movie is too short for the plot. All the events throughout seemed rushed such as the development of the couple’s relationship, obtainment of the mirror fragments, and ending. The rushed events weakened the plot of the movie altogether. Like most couples in xianxia dramas/movies end unhappily and separated or go through tremendous torment/sacrifices, this movie was no different. The plot twist came at the end, for a moment I thought there was a happy ending to this movie. As the reincarnation of the demon ‘king’ (Bai Ze), Chao Yan and Mu Qing were separated after all. Unhappy endings leave me unsatisfied and incomplete.

Perhaps it’s a location-based availability, but I was unable to find this movie on Netflix. However, I did locate it on YouTube:

This short length series is underrated. I rewatched it several times and highly recommend.

Currently halfway through, and it’s been difficult to complete the remaining episodes. The most disturbing part of this drama isn’t the plot or acting, but the main female character, Yoon Sae Bom. Her character portrays someone who’s exceptionally reckless, shortsighted, and makes a fuss when things go against her ideals. As an officer and someone in the middle of a zombie (“madman rabies”) epidemic, it’s frustrating to watch.

Really hoping her character grows the latter half of the drama.

This movie was done exceptionally well, it’s underrated on MDL.

This movie is totally underrated! It was so much fun to watch; hilarious.

The character, Chen Chu Ying, is the worst part of this entire drama. Aside from that, highly recommend! This is the first Taiwanese drama I’ve seen since the early 2000s.
