I actually really liked this drama. Sure, it has its moments of overdramatic moments, over-hyped problems and questionable character decisions, but hey, it's a Makjang, no doubt about it. (I feel bad for anyone who was expecting something else from this drama because of this page's vague details about the drama. I actually went through and edited and added more tags so future viewers don't get the wrong idea.) I personally love Makjang like stories like this. It was a memorable watch for me. If you do not like Makjangs then this drama isn't for you, but If you like Makjangs and live for the drama then.... All aboard the emotional rollercoaster, cause I highly recommend it! The main couple has great chemistry, it has compelling side stories, there are no mary-sue characters, nice character development, it's a fun drama to get emotional with, cute comic relief, interesting characters, it's a pretty underrated drama. To add, I could be biased, because this was one of my first dramas, but regardless, I hope that anyone that has an interest in this type of story gives it a shot!
Just wasn't able to stomach the conflicts and bad attitude of the in-laws that were way over the top, stemming from their ridiculous pride.
The main couple was cute though. Still pissed they had to put up with such controlling parents. Bom was practically a prisoner in that home with no good reason and barley had any privileges to see her own son, much less have her own parents see him. Now, if she showed a bit of defiance every once and a while I probably would have stuck with this drama longer, but she didn't and it was frustrating to watch Bom continue to be passive in this situation.
Sadly this drama wasn't my thing and I dropped it halfway through. The moment the story began to turn to the in-laws and their relationship mess, I bounced. I just couldn't give a hoot about these prideful, rich mofos, when they treat their daughter-in-law and her family like garbage.
Maybe one day I'll give this drama a chance again, but for now. No.
