Surprisingly Good!
This show being good caught me off guard. I didn’t have high expectations for it. First off, the most immediate thing that grabs your attention is the female lead’s haircut, which is one of the most unappealing things I have ever seen in my life. That’s it, it’s so out there it deserves to be mentioned. Then she begins writing a BL (Boy's Love) web novel about her attractive new teachers, which becomes popular while hiding the fact she wrote it. Finally, the show might fumble this young student and teacher situationship that’s going on into inappropriate territory. However, after watching the final episode, I’m glad everything worked out well.
This show surprisingly has a lot of heart, which is why I kept watching. The BL scenes are light and more comedic than anything else, never explicit. They consist of short skits with her imagination running wild with out-of-context conversations and situations involving the male teachers. Honestly skippable if you’re not at all interested in them.
BL scenes asides, the show is a blend of light school drama and her numerous interactions with her math teacher, Mr. Ga. To get it out of the way, she eventually develops a crush on him, but he does not. Thank god, I might have thrown this show into the dumpster so fast. Instead, what we get is Mr. Ga as a genuinely great teacher who encourages her to pursue her writing and improve her abysmal math scores.
