It's solid, but it's a run of the mill business drama.

Let’s get the negatives out of the way. Firstly, this show is a business drama through and through. The title of the show is meaningless. The premise of him winning the lottery is borderline meaningless and doesn’t change the core focus of what this show is… a bunch of adults discussing business and workplace drama. Everyone yap yap yaps about numbers, Excel sheets, and what not.

In a sense, based on the title and the expectations it sets, I expected a bit more… lets say… drastic changes in the main character after winning a modest amount of money. Nope, the money doesn’t change him for better or worse, it simply provides a nice cushion to fall back on in case he gets fired. Everything he does throughout the show could have been done without winning the lottery. He never really uses it! Sure, that might be the message of the show, but honestly, I think most viewers expected something more than a straightforward business drama given the premise.

Lastly, he wants to "change" the company for the better, addressing all the mistreatment and other issues he experiences. Excuse me? By the end of the show, he honestly hasn’t made any progress toward that goal at all. He’s literally in the same den as the top brass who encourage and tolerate everything he’s trying to change.

Rant over. It’s a business drama, but it’s absolutely solid. The pacing is great, the writing is excellent, and the coworkers are well-developed. I like ML’s acting and the projects he has worked on before. I enjoyed the backstory of each coworker and appreciated how each of them gets an episode or two focused on their character. The business discussions are engaging, and the twists and turns in the business dealings are great and easy to follow.
