the director made dramas on taboo topics and he did give them a happy ending most of the times so I'm guessing this one will also get a happy ending! the ML is only disabled. he has NED.

it seems like jeong yo swam ashore or was helped by somebody and tried to hide himself. if we go with the memory loss theory, he was most probably helped by somebody. if that's what happened, his case reminds me of the 20 yo andreas grassl lol, except andreas grassl played the piano and his character seems to have an injured arm because of the gunshot injury.
