I watched the first episode when it was released. I thought it was a healing, feel good countryside drama but…
It's not that political and they don't focus much on the revenge either. It's a healing slice-of-life drama focusing on the mother-son relationship mostly!
I thought she had a crush on him too, because there were a couple of scenes where it did feel like that, but in the end he ended up just being her doctor and a good friend. I love that she started putting herself first, but I was still disappointed because I wanted to see them end up together. The show made it seem like they were gonna end up together in the beginning at least. I just needed a scene in the 16th ep where they start dating (or where they were still friends), but we didn't get it and that's totally fine too!
A woman doesn't need no man to be happy. She doesn't need one either, but it really seemed like Roy and her were gonna end up together. I thought she liked him too. She was in a loveless marriage and didn't have a career, she should also find love ðŸ˜
