Why not this couple ? This drama is an adaption of The Pillow Book Novel which main couple is Donghua and Fengjju. If you want another couple you could wait for their drama adaption, Lian song and Chengyu story is the 4th novel, there is also Mo yuan and shao wan story but the novel is not finished yet

Just ignore their story in TMOPB, Donghua first saved Fengjiu around the time Bai Qian still at Kunlun, when Bai Qian go to mortal realm Donghua already asleep/recuparated. Donghua and Fengjiu first official meeting is at Bai qian and Yehua wedding which is 200 years after TMOPB.

Unexpectedly the mortal realm story is quite good ~ I always find the mortal realm arc boring in any Xianxia drama. You could see Fengjiu mature a lot already, and I love her friendship with Ye Qingti ~

Could YZ fans stop coming here if you dont like Dilireba? I myself dont like YZ and her acting so I never bother to watch or comment about her drama. The only drama of her that I watched is AOL and its so draggy I basically watch it at 2x speed (Only for Leo Yunxi). And I never bother to go to any of her page/drama thread to bash or ridicule her, you guys have too much time or what?
