Good Start - Boring Middle - Great Ending
Before I say anything I just want to say that the OST for Kkondae Intern was surprisingly amazing. It's perhaps one of my favourite OST's out of all, at least in my top three of all time.Anyways, regarding the drama itself. It's definitely something that you can easily watch, just sit back, relax, smile and laugh a little along the way. It started of good in the first couple of episodes, and then the next three or four episodes were quite dull, but the last half of episodes were pretty amazing and made me binge-watch the whole way through the second half. I also like the twists and the turns of the story.

Stranger. Perhaps the greatest and most consistently good drama in television history.
Wow - and I thought they couldn't live up to the hype from their amazing first season! So, what did I prefer in each season of Stranger? Firstly, what I prefer about the second season. The plot has so much substance and thickness, such realism and emotion behind it that I felt even more sadder compared to the first season, because I didn't want it to end! An unexpected storyline. It keeps you guessing and guessing.I think the second season did take a little longer for me to get into compared to the first, plus I think the first season there were more characters you could connect to just because their personalities were more explored, however, there was at no time watching this I became bored, so that's always a good sign. Like I said before in this review, you won't want this to finish at all!!

Slow Start but at the end you'll wont want it to end!
After I would say the first three or four episodes, Live is addictive. What I love about this drama compared to many others is the range of characters and their development throughout the start to the end. The OST is absolutely fantastic too, perhaps one of my favourites? And that's a big statement for me to say! Regarding a second season, I'm not too sure if it will happen, however, I would definitely be open to one!I would recommend anyone to watch Live. I think anyone from any age group (teen or older) will get enjoyment from watching this beautiful masterpiece. Some parts which were brutal, but it's legitimately made me respect the real police even more!

I feel like this show does deserve a second season, although I'm not really sure it will ever be made. It's a shame, as I think I've found a great plot for it. Anyways, talking about plot, this show managed to pull off the thriller plot, romance plot and comedy plot amazingly well! This show is a MUST TRY!

The pacing is also brilliant in each episode - it never drags, and has the right amount of violence scenes and more 'casual' scenes. This show is the first to give me proper goose bumps in a very long time, and some scenes made me so enticed that I truly believed I was in the show at some points!
Horror fans will love this show, also give it a try if you're into thrillers and basic crime dramas! This show is definitely not getting enough attention from what it deserves, watch this now!!

At first, in the first and second episodes especially, I wasn't in the 'love' stage, as I felt some of the story and acting was a little sloppy, but the performances in the episodes after that truly made up for the first two episodes.
I have seen a recurring theme that most K-Drama only have on season and sixteen episodes, considering its now 2020, I don't think there will be another season, but I still strongly suggest to anyone who likes romance to watch this!

I do believe in some parts due to my western culture there were "cringe" scenes, however, there are obviously "cringe" scenes in western movies which asian people will not enjoy.
As a whole though, this was truly greatly acted and the stories in the series were so good that I could definitely watch this season over and over again! I have never seen any of these cast members before as I am still new in this community, however, I would definitely love to check them out again, this is an obvious indicator in how well this show performed! I truly suggest everyone to check this show out and see what you think!
A second season is must needed however for a more detailed review, as then I will be able to have an exact opinion. This show is great though!

Great Stuff!
While some may find The Uncanny Counter confusing, especially if you haven't watched many dramas of it's genre, I believe that the majority will love watching this. A very heart-warming and emotional story that will make you feel any and every emotion? You got it. From happiness to sad, from anger to sorrow, The Uncanny Counter will make sure you experience a rollercoaster of different emotions.A cast that really has great chemistry alongside an addictive OST combines this to be a must watch!

The Kdrama is so good that if you rewatch it, you might get too addicted too it, that’s the only reason I haven’t gave it a 10/10 score.
Everything from the twist and turns, casting, acting, music etc. Everyone needs to watch this Kdrama!
I’m just honestly hoping this isn’t the end of this amazing Kdrama, I could watch 20 seasons of this Kdrama if it continues this greatness, I’m honestly begging for another series asap please, that’s how good hyena is! You will love it!

Good Idea - Awful Execution
This is the first drama I have ever dropped unfortunately, as I do not continue watching a drama if it falls below a 5/10.Now, what went wrong, for me at least? The idea was inventive and I liked it. But how should I explain Abyss in the most honest way possible?
Abyss is simply boring.
I don't care about the characters or what happens to them later on in this series. A 1 hour episode honestly feels like 2/3 hours long. Cringe script writing, awful acting at parts, mega-slow pacing at parts, too.
I welcome people to still try out Abyss, but don't say I didn't warn you. I feel you'll find yourself dropping it too.

Unpopular Opinion - I liked it!
Despite the very low overall rating of Love Alarm 2 currently - I personally really enjoyed it, and easily prefer it over the first season of Love Alarm. I like how Love Alarm 2 gives off more mature vibes, which I think was definitely needed in order for the story to progress. I would also like to point out that the OST is surprisingly sublime, meaning I will be listening to it on repeat, starting today! It wasn't perfect, for example I did find some scenes quite cringe or irrelevant as they didn't really progress the story that much but overall it didn't hinder my positive experience on an overall scale that much.
While I do prefer Love Alarm 2 - I don't think there should be a Love Alarm 3 now. I'm only mentioning this because I feel like a Love Alarm 3 will happen - we shall see if my feeling becomes more than a 'feeling'!

Almost a Masterpiece
This is probably a very unpopular opinion, but I absolutely loved this drama. I believe, if it wasn't for the almost "confusing cool-down" of the last two episodes that were, I admit, a little disappointing, I would be calling this a masterpiece. A flawless masterpiece. But my excitement for the last two episodes did admittedly go down a notch as I was getting a little too confused with the story (which to be honest, was expected, since this is time-travel related, and I nearly always struggle with this trope).Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the last two episodes, but like I said, notably less than the previous fourteen. I guess it's not just about the "journey" of a drama, the ending is just as important (for me, anyways). The first fourteen were a masterpiece. A brilliant story, greatly acted with an awesome cast, an absolutely stunning OST (perhaps the tiniest bit overplayed, but that's just nit-picking, honestly), with also great production value, SFX, editing, cinematography and directing.
I thought the chemistry with all cast members was fantastic, and the characters were all well-written and dynamic. The plot twists were so unpredictable and legitimately shocked me, alongside some other great things such as bromance and the fact that the story would always make you guess when you weren't watching.

Deserved the 'Starting Hype'
While I wouldn't say it's in my 'Top 10' of all time, I can say that Squid Game, unlike many other series, managed to deliver in it's hype which it had received since day one, providing top-notch production quality, sensational acting and character development, alongside a concept that was extremely interesting. One of the key things here, the character development, worked perfectly with the story theme: the fact that, in face of money, even your best friend can become your worst enemy if you need to survive etc.Casting choices were absolutely perfect, and while I was the tiniest bit disappointed with the direction of the final episode (funnily enough the same sort of feeling I had with one of Lee Jung Jae's previous projects known as Chief of Staff) - I understand why it was done.
One other thing I really like about Squid Game is how easy it was to watch. I normally am not interested in re-watching dramas, but with Squid Game, I don't think that's the case - even when I know who survives and who doesn't. Two words: great writing. Here's another four words: check Squid Game out.

Don't "run" away the thought of watching this
Considering finding the first episode really slow, my enjoyment of Run On quickly changed to a really positive turn from that point onwards. Run On not only has the greatest couple I have witnessed to date, but also honestly just a really interesting and nice story. This probably doesn't make sense but I really took my time watching Run On because I actually felt sad if I went through the episodes to quickly, I wanted to "savour" them as much as I could! I wasn't too sure on the romance between the two main supporting cast, however by the last few episodes my opinion had also changed on this too. I just think the characters and the friendship between them, alongside the elements of sports and movie/translation made Run On a true masterpiece that will still be talked about in the next ten or more years. The only one thing I didn't find much enjoyment from, which could have impacted it from receiving a 10 was the "character in movie" type scenes, they're hard to explain but you'll understand once they appear near the final episodes. Again, nothing bad, just a tad confusing.
Acting and chemistry was perfect alongside the OST, the OST wasn't too distinctive which was great because it was only used in important scenes, something which I think is better to have, compared to an OST which is overplayed throughout each episode. Don't do what I did and hesitate too long about Run On, trust me, you'll regret it. You'll love it, you'll love Run On!

Hot Stove League proves that sports dramas can work!
Just like my headline, Hot Stove League really proves that sports dramas can work when done like this! Hot Stove League made me like baseball, a sport that I never liked until now! A really good story and sub-stories mixed in with a really good cast that seemed to have perfect chemistry with one another right from the start in the first episode until the last second. Hour long episodes rarely feel like 30 minute episodes and the story make it such perfect material. A few members of the cast, actually perhaps the majority, I had not been familiar with but now I need to watch more dramas with these actors/actresses in! Well done, Hot Stove League! Bravo! Lets go Dreams! Go Dreams Go! Go Dreams! Dreams Go!Was this review helpful to you?
