I don't understand the disinterest people seem to be having with this series. I've seen Kiss me, Kiss me again(BL cuts) and Our Sky, so I don't really care that much about the PeteKao storyline, though I will still watch it cause I like the pairing. SunMork, however, has my heart. I don't know what it is about them but I love it. I am so glad that over half of the episodes are them(newer episodes). I don't think they are moving that slowly. I feel it's a graduate progression. I enjoy the characters too so that just adds on to my interest. Even if the PeteKao plot goes downhill, which I think it will, I will still watch for SunMork. It's such a fluffy, cute story that I'm not used to seeing in BL's. (Probably gonna get some drama later but that is to be expected.)
Also, the intro is amazing to me. Reminds me of a fashion show, and I just think it's a cool idea to introduce the characters without giving away spoilers of scenes that will happen in the series(like a lot of BL's do and it's annoying as hell)

They are all titled as Guest Roles but you will see them. I thought maybe they were in the cast to promote the show, but I just watched the first episode and that is not the case. I already saw 2 of them lol

Anime BL's? What other ones are coming out? I've seen Given, and a lot of older anime BL's, I haven't heard of any other ones coming out.

Thank you. I haven't gotten around to it, but I do plan on continuing. It's so hard to watch all of the BL's when they are airing because there is so many that are airing currently or about to air. I am already watching like 5 that are airing, and another one is about to start airing tomorrow. I swear they are feeding us good this year with the BL's. Lmao

This was the first BL drama I ever watched. I was just watching videos on youtube and this was in my recommended for some reason. I binged it and somehow I just got yanked into the world of BL, I don't even remember how lmao. I watched this a few years ago and I'm thinking about rewatching it, just cause it was my first. Though I'm not sure how I fell in love with BL from this series because it didn't leave the best impression.

I just finished watching the first episode, and it seems to have potential. I didn't know if I wanted to watch it because there seems to be an extremely low amount of BL, but I will give it a shot(pun intended).

Their relationship is based on manipulation and guilt. I've read some scenes from the novel, and heard stuff about it. Their relationship doesn't immediately turn lovey dovey though. I don't categorize it as making love out of rape necessarily, but I do agree that it's morbid.

But I don't agree with your statement 'rape is the only way to make someone your boyfriend.' There are 3 other couples on the show, 1 that is pure as gold, 1 that is a kinda hate-to-love relationship(which I personally adore), and 1 that has rape in the storyline, which happened in the past, but it's not a 'rape to boyfriends' situation.

I always see people say that there should be happy ending in BL's all the time, which is nice to see but a little unrealistic.(Sometimes relationships just don't last; it's nice to see some realism.) I've always liked dark themes, even if it's not BL. I don't mind if it's dark, as long as they don't do the plot line I've seen some do, which is making love out of a rape situation.(Ain't for that). I even watch American movies and TV shows for the dark or sad concepts. I just find it appealing, and I'm not an emotional person at all so I sometimes search for TV shows or movies to see if it could bring some emotion out of me.

There is a dark and a light version of the novel, I'm not quite sure which they are doing.(Secretly hoping it's the dark one)

The remake was just done better in my opinion(acting, writing, timing), even on the first few episodes.

Someone was trolling on the cast list. The Sotus actors were never going to play the parts, the cast line up wasn't even out yet when someone posted them as the cast. The new cast is brand new actors and actors that only played in a few other series before.
