I enjoyed this movie until I find out that while doing press for it at the time the two main male actors bad mouthed both the movie and the plot and talked about how weird it was and felt and how they would never do it again if given the opportunity.. Which begs the question ; Why take on such a bold role(by societal standards) in the first place just to then bath mouth it with homophobia? I swear I wish these directors would stop casting idiots like these for these roles.. They don't deserve the opportunities and accolades they receive afterwards for playing these roles because they are literal human garbage..

We do indeed still produce films and shows like this.. In 2022 Japan released "More than Words" on amazon which is essentially this, but in a series form and much detailed. This particular script about the whole "Melancholic love triangle" is pretty popular in queer films still because they paint a realistic picture about the complications of youth, sexuality, friendship and societal pressures..

Yea it is.. It gives you an even deeper look at this complicated 3-way relationship.. I mean ; I am glad that Jonathan was able to break free of those two selfish people and start fresh elsewhere, but we never really find out or know any details about his life after he left.. We don't know if he if ever truly found his own happiness and/or someone who truly loved him because the next time we see and hear about him we find out about his tragic death.. It's heartbreaking..

I would say that Shane loved Jonathan yes, but I don't think he was in love with Jonathan.. Or at the very least he didn't realize that he loved Jonathan in that way yet.. The movie ending is what happened pretty much at the beginning of the last chapter of the book, but it didn't end there.. In the book Jonathan and Shane never talked again after leaving the beach that day. Shane and Carrie later broke up and went there separate ways and Carrie became a writer. Jonathan later died in a serious car accident and Shane and Carrie returned to Taiwan to attend the funeral wake happening at Jonathan's family home. Shane realized on his way to Jonathan's house that he did actually love him and miss him, but it was to late..

There are many BL stories and/or manga's not tagged or labeled BL, but rather as slice of life, romance, drama etc.. Yet they still fall into the category of BL(Boy Love).. But I'll leave it there because I'm not quite sure what your issue with BL drama's is or if you even know why your bothered by this one falling into that category.. But I am not going to waste my time trying to figure it out. Have the day you deserve. <3

I definitely wouldn't have gotten that comparison after watching this series.. It has nothing in common with the Untamed series.. The main couple have no chemistry at all and they look more than uncomfortable during the intimate scenes.. I get liking the series and that's fine if you do, but lets not make up comparisons.. This show is nothing like the untamed series in any way and their is no way you watched those first two episodes and thought that the writers of the untamed series had any hand in it..

The ID Card was a metaphor for Beom being stuck in time.. It tie's into the whole peter pan aspect of not wanting to grow up.. Beom didn't want to move past the last day that he spent together on the beach at the shore with Minha. He didn't want to accept that he and Minha had broken up and he didn't want to accept that Minha killed himself.. Beom finally getting his new ID card and returning the shore was him accepting the reality of what happened and moving forward(Unfreezing time in a way).. He then returned to the shore with the picture of peter pan to mourn and say goodbye to Minha.

Not sure what world your living in but in Taiwan and many other functioning countries the law defines rape as "ANY type of sexual assault that involves forced penetration".. That includes oral.. So just so we're clear ; Aaron forcing his ex-boyfriend to perform oral on him against his will is in fact classified as rape under Taiwanese Law. For future reference ; Please do yourself a favor and look this information up before making yourself look unintelligent online..

You have those convictions reversed.. He was convicted of sexual assault, but he was not convicted of filming the assault or leaking it.. Aaron publicly apologized to his ex-boyfriend for assaulting him at a press conference that he interrupted, but denied leaking the videos of the assault. He was given a 7 month suspended prison sentence for sexual assault. Him and his ex-boyfriend settled out of court. Not sure if Aaron will still have to serve the prison sentence considering the settlement, but we will see.

Aaron Yan was accused and convicted of sexual assault after his ex boyfriend Riku accused him of forcing him to perform oral acts on him back in 2017.. Aaron allegedly later leaked the videos.. Arron was given a 7 month suspended prison sentence and he and Riku later settled out of court.. Arron also admitted to the sexual assault and publicly apologized to the victim at an interrupted press conference, but denied being the person who leaked the unconsensual video of the assault.. Not sure if he will still have to serve the time in prison considering the settlement and everything or if the sentence was later thrown out.

I actually enjoyed this movie. Not that the story wasn't disturbing.. I really enjoyed how complete and honest it felt. Never thought that by the end I would sympathize with the main character either, but I did.

That friend needed his literal ass whooped.. What a piece of work. And Xiao Fei's boyfriend is also a piece of work.. Knowing that this is based on a true story makes it all the more tragic..

It was suppose to release late 2021- early 2022.. So It seems to have long been axed.. The producer of the show said something about it possibly being released this year, but who really knows with China at this point.. We are already in August.. I can't see them releasing it before the year is out, but maybe..? I wouldn't hold my breath though honestly..

Chengling ended up rebuilding the sect near the mountains to be closer to his family(A'Xu and Uncle Wen) and I'm guessing the Karate kid(Deng Kuan's son) is also from their sect and is Wen Ke Xing's disciple considering he was practicing Wen's 18 steps of Qiuming. A'Xu and Wen Ke Xing were trapped in the armory, but they were immortal after completing the 6 path cultivation. As A'Xu said in episode 36 ; they would be stuck in the armory until the spring melted the snow, but since they were now immortal they could survive just eating the snow and waiting it out. I'm sure they probably kept themselves occupied by reading through all of the lost martial arts books stored in the libraries and practicing their martial arts.

They wrapped filming for this more than 3 years ago. I doubt this show will be seeing the light of day..
