He is like the most modern looking guy in historic times 😛
His period drama makeup and styling used to be so bad. Lady revenge returns from fire was 😬🤣😬 He has been acting for almost 10 years, with very average resources mostly with Mango and with no backers. Even his agency is not high profile. Its commendable he made it to this stage and is in "form" right now. It seems he doesn't have top tier people for makeup and styling like those with better resources. Make-up and styling is everything for period dramas. But in the last two years, it started getting better. White Cat Legend and Fox Spirit Matchmaker were not bad. Liu Chang was hot 🔥 and Yan Ke styling also seems a perfect fit for him. He instantly feels like a brand-new character with a fresh personality, and he's incredibly handsome without feeling repetitive or out of character. He has one Tang dynasty drama with Xu Kai wrapped and styling is good. Another period drama starting in April. Hopefully its as good if not better. Both as main leads. 💖💖
