I actually tried watching some shorts too motivate myself because I feel regretful of I don't finish a drama with stellar ratings. Thank you for your advise on the review and comment thing as I don't like to have much internet presence and refrain from participating in discussions much. But since I think I expressed my views on the viewing experience of the drama as a whole and not a single instance or a scene, a review feels better to write.
And yes, you are absolutely right that they are not supposed to have any romantic undercurrents as of now, but this is more about the environment or vibe( might be the better word) of the drama. There is just absolutely no motivation, same was the case for Back From the Brink. I have absolutely no qualms about watching long dramas, I swallowed The Untamed whole, and this drama is just 25 episodes. This is just about the gripping factor and motivation. There is absolutely none.
