Yes, I was wondering whether you would include Saikou no Rikon or not :) but both Mahoro and Saikou made it. Great continuation list, I want to start working on others as well
Another The Heirs situation. It has the same coldness and lack of excitement. I can't exactly describe it well, but it doesn't hook you in. There is literally no chemistry between the characters, as far as both couples are considered. The main negative view about the rich "Chaebol" families and negative relationships between husband and wives that was prevalent in The Heirs, is here as well. The relationship between Kim Tan and his father is replicated in Ue's character's relationship with her mother. This time however, there is no Kim Woo Bin to save the show.
As for the actors, strangely enough I hate them in this drama. I have no idea why, I loved Uee in Ojakgyo Brothers, She fitted wtih Joo Won so well. I think it might be due to the character and not due to her that she irritates me in this drama. She can't show her acting skills and her characters remains dull and cold. Sung Joon, I love him, he was so good in I Need Romance 3, Discovery of Romance. Even his antihero character in Jekyll, Hyde and Me was more captivating than he is in this drama. Again, I suspect it has to do with the character and not his acting. Park Hyung Shik is actually OK in this drama, but after seeing him as Dal Bong his character here remains so unsatisfactory.
As for Im Ji Yeon, she is not terrible, but she just doesn't have positive energy much. The only thing I can think about when I'm watching her is how much she looks like a young Kim Hee Jung.
Once again the characters failed to engage me in. But since I've watched 9 episodes so far, I'll hold on and finish this.
But for people who may be debating whether they should start this or not, you might find that other dramas might be more worthwhile.
I like the drama, however Ha Ji Won is unbearable in this drama. I have no idea why, I usually like her. I don't know whether it's the character. It really doesn't suit her.
