I haven't seen any Indian dramas, but they probably are pretty similar. A lot of them are soap opera-ish, so there's a lot of crazy plot twists in a single series. lol They usually aren't very realistic, so it's fun to watch them when you want a break from reality. A good number of them follow the slap/kiss routing, but there are a few other genres out there. Most of what you see are romances and comedy, but that's true for a lot of Asian dramas. :)

I find them really enjoyable, but it's definitely one of those "you'll have to watch for yourself to know if you'll like the style" cases. lol They have a different style of filming with smaller budgets than Korean and Japanese dramas.
