so sorry for the late reply! I only just now saw your comment in the forums. I'm on episode 8 of Hemlock Grove and I'm really enjoying it so far. I fell into a bit of a drama funk and now I'm turning to my favorite genre to try and snap out of it. XD This show has some really interesting plots twists, I can't wait to see where it's going. I think they portrayed the horror aspect really well. ^^

Yeah it does sound like that. :)<br /><br />I haven't completed one of his books, but I did start the Wind-Up Bird Chronicle several years ago, but I didn't get to finish it. My sister was in that stage where she hated me borrowing her books so she refused to let me finish. (gotta love em! lol) I thought it as really interesting though.

Sidenote: Soul was such a disappointment. It had so much potential, but they screwed up the ending by completely disregarding the prologue. How can you show future events at the beginning and then end it in a way that contradicts it? -_-

I see. I guess it's just that I'm not as familiar with Taiga. :)

I will probably give it a try eventually. :) I'm also impressed with the episode count. It's not often that a Jdrama has more than 12-16 episodes. ^^

It still sounds very interesting, but I was really hoping for an action packed Jdrama about a female warrior. Usually Jdramas have to have a huge dose of comedy added to their strong female protagonists (Gokusen being the first one that comes to mind) lol

I've had my eye on Yae no Sakura, what do you think of it? I am tempted because I can't say no to a story with a strong female protagonist. You can't get much stronger than a gun toting, sword wielding warrior, so my fingers are itching to add it to my list. XD
