Title Graceful Friends Spoiler
It was a fine end chingu in my opinion. I mean could be worse. By the way Chingu, what other dramas are you watching?
Yeah it was fine ending. I see Jung Hae and Goong Chul getting back together. I feel like they had already divorced before Yoo Bin's accident and now they feel like to be in transition of coming back together acting all lovey dovey. Also clearing out their misunderstandings and Goong Chul being the "Knight in shining armor" that Jung Hae always wonder who was. Many have theory they are happy co-parenting, which could be true, but to me they look to be coming back together and seeing Jung Hae taking a 1 year break, I think they would be back by that time or even before that. We see both Goong Chul and Jung Hae being hesitant when Goong Chul was leaving for his home. I know it is an open ending regarding their relationship, but I am gonna believe they resolved things and are on track of coming back together.

As for murder, I am sure Jae Hoon murdered him and also cleaned up the scene. We see him leaving home after smashing the trophy on his head. What I believe is he left, but soon realized what he had done, discarded his current clothes as they would have blood on it and other evidences like his own DNA on it. So he discards it and changes into new ones, comes back to clean up the scene. The way he hit the head on the sink in bathroom, it looked like the person had the idea about how to hit the head, it can be done by a doctor, so Jae Hoon I believe. And what more evidence than he being in possession of the murder weapons and other items.

The scriptwriters just want us to be confused. Just like I feel it was really useless to add the scene where Jung Hae steals the body. I mean is it really that easy to steal bodies? and that too which were murdered from the morgue? Some can argue she used her father's connection, but then she would really not need to get herself involved. We know her father, he would be as indifferent to her, but he would not let her do it herself, rather send a person do it, But let's just consider she did it to bring an end to all the Kang San murder thing, It already was haunting Jung Hae, Goong Chul and Jung Hae. Maybe she did it so that no one would really try to reopen the case. I decided not to really think hard about it, because we'll never be getting answers for this one.

Apart from that, all characters got a proper closure and that is what me like the ending more. Believe me, this could end really badly. The least they could do was kill Jae Hoon, but decided to save him too. So I really liked this rare occasion where the scriptwriters decided to go the "best ending for everyone" way for everyone.

Anyway, its good that you are watching similar kdramas as me, will look forward to discussing about them with you too :)

I just saw that in episode 11 Goong Cheol kisses Hae Sook, WTF???????
Sorry Chingu to be taking this long time in replying to your comment. I was busy a bit last week. But yes, the writers took the easy way for the Prof's murder, so they might really go the same way for Yoo Bin's murder. Yes it was sad to watch Jung Hae asking for the divorce after telling Goong Chul what he really was for her. But yes Yoo Bin's accident brought them together, Hae Sook's talk should have encouraged Jung Hae to give her marriage another try.

By the way did you see the latest episode? It was a calmer episode but a good one for me. Yoo Bin wakes up, we Jung Hae opening up to Hae Sook. Murder evidences vanishing and Jae Hoon actually realizing that his crazy plan did more damage than he had intended it to. I think he never thought of the consequences. We know he was delusional, so he never thought that Goong Chul would break down that badly, also Yoo Bin would get hurt like that. I have said before too, we have been seeing Jae Hoon conflicted because he was closest to Goong Chul as a friend and Goong Chul always cared for him and understood him. Its just that Jae Hoon's obsessive drive forced him do all that. And no, I am not saying that guy is good, he is in fact one of the worst characters I have watched in dramas, but we do see him troubled with all the things happening as a result of his plan.

As for the person hiding the murder weapon, we have two suspects- Goong Chul and Hae Sook. But I am sure it is Goong Chul. About that I have written above in comment, but I'll also post here so you won't have to search it.

Please do check the scene in ep1 where Goong Chul dreams about jumping from a building. The bag he is holding, is the same golden bag he was holding in the CCTV camera. He is wearing the same clothes too. In the preview, we see a scene in which we see him holding the trophy and opening his arms. We do see some blurred lights down there, so looks like he is somewhere high.

Now I don't whether he's there to throw the trophy or he was just suicidal (remember it all happened him having his doubts, Jung Hae clearing some of them and also asking for divorce). So he could have been suicidal at that time. He could actually be on Jae Hoon's building's roof. But that scene definitely looks like the one of past. I mean it belongs to the part they'll show what Goong Chul did after taking evidence from Jae Hoon's house.

But once again. In ep1 suicide scene and ep 15 CCTV camera scene, Goong Chul carries same bag and wears same clothes. Also the guy shown holding trophy in next episode's preview does seem to wear the same set of clothes.

So now I guess it is safe to think that Goong Chul actually all the evidence and it is in his gold shopping bag he is holding.

I really like how the writers went back to his dream in EP1 and connected everything together.

Yes Chingu they have been confusing us all along since start.

The scene in ep 1 was dream, Goong Chul tells Jung Hae that he had same dream 3 times now and every time he saw himself jumping from the roof of a building.

So I think it is was just some sort of for shadowing. But it is actually good writing when they even connected the dream to an actual scene happening. I like these sorts of links being made.

Let's hope this week's episodes be as good and it concludes properly with a good ending.

Chingu!!!! I just observed a very important or maybe rather interesting thing while going through past episodes.

Chingu the baby was born 2 months earlier, but Goong Chul did say while being in cafe that Jung Hae's due date is in 2 months. So I think it was indeed a pre-mature birth. Also in ep 14th we heard Hyung Woo telling Yoo Bin about how strong he was in the incubator because of being born pre-mature. So I think he is actually Goong Chul's son. Plus I don't think they'll include it for the last 2 episodes, its gonna be too much drama. Doc didn't mention it was pre-mature baby because she had already given them a due date and didn't really need to mention it to them.

I think the Dramatic Twist meant that Jae Hoon would be confessing but the evidence would go missing. We don't know who did it yet. Plus about the fact Hae Sook could also have taken away the evidence. But I think Goong Chul did it.

The point which proves Goong Chul has done it is in the scene where they show Goong Chul in the CCTV camera. We need to see two scenes. The one in which Goong Chul is shown in the CCTV camera in ep 15th and in the preview where they show the bag with evidence and a person holding the trophy. That is Goong Chul. Check the clothes, and check the bag shown. The bag Goong Chul hold in ep 15 is golden outside, and white inside but with gold boundaries in the inside and inside of handle. The bag is same. Also the hand holding the trophy is definitely a man's hand. I think Goong Chul will destroy the evidence, because no matter where you hide it, it can be found. Also I don't think he wants to be the killer (wouldn't do it for his family and also would not want Yoo Bin to a murderer's son). He just wants Jae Hoon to not be arrested. I think he wants him to suffer while living his life and not rotting in prison.

As for the cameras, I think Mo Ran had got them changed. She definitely looked suspicious when the detectives were checking the camera in Jae Hoon's house. She looked to nervous a lot, she picked a book to hide it, but still could not help herself looking the cameras and detectives. Remember how cool she was back then when cops arrived first? This was totally opposite to it. She seems suspicious af lately.

As for Hae Sook's expression at Yoo Bin's side. Could you please what you noticed? If you are talking about she introducing herself as his mom's friends. It is because she made up with Jung Hae and was her friend much before meeting Goong Chul. So she said that. But about her expression, she was genuinely sad and happy that he woke up. But do tell about what you noticed.

I just saw that in episode 11 Goong Cheol kisses Hae Sook, WTF???????
Yeah the showrunners really wanted to feel like Jae Hoon hit him. As for Jung Hae going into labor and Jae Hoon taking her to the hospital also feels to be a normal scene. Like we might get to see Jung Hae or Goong Chul thanking Jae Hoon for saving their son twice. Also many were saying that Goong Chul was a bad husband having left his wife alone when she was in labor. This was already addressed in the drama by saying that Yoo Bin was born pre-mature. So it is understandable for Jung Hae to be out for something and Goong Chul being in his office working.

As for the murderer I can't really think of anyone other than Jae Hoon. And Yes he looked devastated by seeing the current state of Yoo Bin. He must have blamed himself for it too because as Goong Chul told him that he had already come to know that they were divorcing and so took that way while talking to that girl. So feeling guilty about everything he confessed. But looks like someone messed up with the bag containing all evidences and hid it somewhere else. Didn't look to be work Jae Hoon. Goong Chul could have done it, but does he know his house password? We know that Goong Chul checked that secret compartment and must have looked inside the bag and come to know that Jae Hoon is the murderer. That's why we see him telling him not to confess for the muder even if he did it.

Also yes as you said I also think that Kang San's lover stabbed Jae Hoon. I also think that he is the guy who hit Yoo Bin. Think about it, his lover died because he messed up with Jung Hae, so he could have partly held her responsible too. So he must have wanted to make her feel how he feels and take away her loved one too. And as for Jae Hoon, he is the killer so definitely he'll want to kill him to take revenge.

The best part of the 2 episodes was Hae Sook and Jung Hae talk. We finally see Jung Hae coming to know that she was that "one woman" who'll Goong Chul love in his entire life. I think this is a big revelations for Jung Hae given her insecurities. She decided to divorce Goong Chul partly because she thought he does not love and loves Hae Sook. So it was good to see them clearing everything between themselves and Jung Hae coming to know about it. In 13th episode we do see Jung Hae tell Goong Chul that he was the sunshine to her rainy and shadowy life. So I think even Goong Chul now knows what he was to her since he was also doubting it and had his insecurities. We see him literally ask her "what he is to her?" So I think he got that answer. Now the only thing left for them is to have a proper talk and reconcile. Because there is no reason for their divorce. They had their doubts and insecurities and were wrong in not discussing it. Yoo Bin's accident might be the first step to them coming back together too, because they did decide to forget everything and concentrate on Yoo Bin.

I also think there is more to it in Kang San's murder and also in Prof's murder. We might get revelations next episode onward, but the final and greatest mystery will definitely be addressed in the 17th episode.

Whats obvious from the preview is that the bag is missing. But the scene they showed in which Goong Chul opens the secret compartment seemed to be the continuation of the ep 12th ending scene. We never its continuation in ep 13 or 14th. I think Goong Chul saw the bag and whats in it. That's why he was so sure that Jae Hoon is the murderer and asked him not confess about it even if he did it.

The previews particularly of this drama have been confusing and often make us think otherwise. There is a scene missing from 12th episode's preview and that is Jae Hoon taking Jung Hae who was in labor to the hospital. Now I don't really think that will be that important. Maybe we'll see Goong Chul thanking him for saving Yoo Bin twice. I think the drama between Jung Hae, Jae Hoon, Goong Chul is pretty much finished, Now the drama will concentrate more on the two murders. Jung Hae already said that now she hates Jae Hoon (would be surprised if she didn't, given now she even knows about him hiring Kang San).

Hopefully we'll see Jung Hae and Goong Chul reconciling now that the misunderstandings are getting solved, their insecurities getting addressed and becoming clear. Also they did decide to concentrate on Yoo Bin, so this might actually be their first step to getting back together. Hopefully, it'll happen.

Let me do the rough translation for you then.JH: There is another secret chamber in the secret room.Main Detective:…
As i have said before, if they are really going to get back, it should be Jung Hae who needs to take initial steps for that. Goong Chul already knows her and knows that once she decides something she does not change her mind. They did agree to concentrate on Yoo Bin for the time being, but we see Goong Chul telling Yoo Bin that they will be divorcing.

I think the fact that they now know that Yoo Bin had been accusing himself for their divorce might also make them think about it. Do they really want their son to be away from them? Does Jung Hae really want her son to be away from Goong Chul even though he loves him a lot and is closer to him? The fact that Goong Chul didn't even argue about who would have Yoo Bin and decided to move out and have Yoo Bin stay with Jung Hae shows how much he really cares about her. I really think that Jung Hae will also think it over and come to conclusion that it is better for them to clear out their misunderstandings and insecurities, and give their relationship another shot at least for Yoo Bin.

I mean they both love each other, none of them cheated on each other. There are some misunderstandings which if solved, there won't really be any reason not to trust each other. By this at least they'll learn that they need to lean on each other and share things. We see the restaurant owner say the same to Goong Chul that is always okay to say that you are struggling and lean on your partner.

Also I am now having great doubts about Kang San's murders. I mean think about it. We see in the start of 14th episode Jae Hoon angrily smashing Kang San's head with the trophy (i am sure this a fake scene just like Goong Chul murdering him was). If Jae Hoon killed in hot blood and rage, how did he clean up the scene? We even see the murderer having sprays to clean up the stains of blood. Carrying a bag and storing everything in it. But if you see clearly, the murderer looks down (at what maybe Jung Hae's necklace) ignores it and leaves picking up her shoes. There is a very major piece missing in this puzzle. If Jae Hoon didn't murder him, how does he have everything with himself including the murder weapon?

Hey Chingu, Ep15/16 trailer @youtube has no subs, so need yr info please. What's going to happen?
Let me do the rough translation for you then.

JH: There is another secret chamber in the secret room.

Main Detective: What are you doing right now?

JH: There is nothing else. There is nothing else, really (Not sure about this one, but sounds like it)

HS: Jung Hae what has happened?

Jung Hae: Hae Sook I am scared a lot.

Main Detective: Found it.

HS: Goong Chul whatever others say, you are a good man. So don't be hurt now. It would be better if you would be happy now.

Didn't really understood what being said in the scene of Jae Hoon and Goong Chul sitting together.

GC: Hae Sook, I am not a good person.

end of preview.

Hope this helps. Now that Jae Hoon had not ordered the accident of Yoo Bin. Is it safe to assume that it was done by Kang San's lover. Also he looks to be the guy who stabs Jae Hoon. I think so because he has got the main motive. He lost his loved one due to Jung Hae so he tried to take away her loved one. Also Jae Hoon killed his lover (or atleast he thinks so, although i am sure Jae Hoon is the murderer but they could make anyone else the murderer too at this point), so he'll try to kill Jae Hoon in revenge.

Will we really see Jung Hae and Goong Chul divorcing? Goong Chul even told about it to Yoo bin while he was in the hospital bed. Is their relationship really beyond saving? Now that both Jung Hai and Goong Chul know that they were loved by each other from the start, do you think they'll try to reconcile once Yoo Bin wakes up? Will they have a final talk which will help them realize each other's love once again? I really hope that they go back and live their life loving each other. What do you think Chingu? Will they get back or will their sufferings continue?

Yeah the show runners have been confusing us from the start. Not to forget the fake scenes they showed in the start too where Goong Chul was murdering Kang San in the 1st ep. As for Mo Ran knowing about those shoes might be firstly she knows everyone since she is Jae Hoon's ex -wife. So she must have seen Jung Hae wearing it somewhere. Knowing Jae Hoon likes Jung Hae, she must have tried to copy her style in order to attract Jae Hoon.

I dunno about hiring pros or not. Maybe Jae Hoon didn't call them because they also could one day turn against Jae Hoon and blackmail him for that. Also I think it was already proved that the death was caused by the trophy hitting Kang San and not his head hitting against the basic. Its just that the killer did it to make it look like it happened that way. As for the towers, he could have burnt them too but shoes and trophy he kept them. hiding them with himself must have felt more safe to him along with pen drives.

I highly doubt that Jung Hae's father would get himself involved like that. He did say to her that he investigated because he needed why she took that money. Also she took that money on the day of murder, so i don't really think he would have time to get people investigate what is going on and also get Kang San killed.

Yes, the fact that he told Goong Chul that he did it to him all because Jung Hae and Goong Chul were happy together, shows that his main motive was to make them both suffer. So maybe he'll take the extreme step of hitting Yoo Bin in order to completely destroy their lives.

Your assumptions could be actually true. Also the fact that Jae Hoon has got the murder weapon and the other stuff (Jung Hae's shoes etc.) does really leave very less to imagine someone else as the killer.

Also kinda was relieved that those shoes actually belonged to Mo Ran and she was not simply covering up Jae Hoon. Since she must have known that Jae Hoon loves Jung Hae instead of her, she could have tried to copy Jung Hae's style in order to attract Jae Hoon.

Yeah that is actually bothering me. You see someone calls Goong Chul from Yoo Bin's phone and it seems like it is Jae Hoon because we saw in the last preview going to Yoo Bin. Considering the amount of episodes we have, I am sure he pull off atleast one more crazy move.

When he can do that thing to the person he loves, he can do the same to her son. But what makes me doubt is the reason he confesses a murder. Does he realize all he was doing was for nothing finally.

Didn't really show it, but i am sure that Goong Chul looked inside the bag and knows that Jae Hoon is the murderer.

Also what do you think about the episode? I think it was pretty good development between Goong Chul and Jung Hae. Although she asked him to divorce her, she also told him that for her he was like a sunshine in her Shadowy and rainy life. She is asking for divorce because she thinks Goong Chul is only getting hurt because of her and is struggling because of it and thus she says they should not have met. But at least with this Goong Chul at least got to know how she feels for him.

Also I really liked the conversation between Hae Sook and Jung Hae. What favor do you think Hae Sook asked Jung Hae for? Is it to take her to Man Sik's charnel (we see them together in next episode's preview there), or does she ask her to stay with Goong Chul as he really loves Jung Hae or does she ask Jung Hae not to tell anyone else about her illness?

The reason Jung Hae asked for divorce looked more like she was doing it for Goong Chul. She does tell him that he was like a sunshine to her when her life was filled with shades and rain. So she suggesting divorce seems to be for Goong Chul so that he does not get hurt more.

But i also think that hospital may bring them together. JH's wife also might be upto something. We need to remember that we are left with 3-4 episodes now and there is always room for 1-2 twists. Also we might get the answers to the Prof's actual death too. In this one Jung Hae does tell the cop that Man Sik killed the Prof. But I still think that there is something important missing and not being shown regarding that murder.

Also if you watched the raw, Goong Chul does ask her whether Yoo Bin is his son and she asks "What" in shock. After sometime you see her reaction which I think is that she seemed disappointed. Why do you think?
