No actually she’s 172cm or 5’7. So a nice frame out of the two. Plus camera angles can make her look taller…
Might consider investing on some heels then, lol. But yeah. It definitely is not perfect as they portray it to be. I scroll through Weibo and other chinese social media apps and sometimes people's words can be too ruthless. Unfortunately, it'll probably stay like that for a while. There will always be unbelievable high standards and whatnot in the industry-- and not just in the C-entertainment industry, but everywhere else too. I wish people could have a bit more sympathy for once.

You're absolutely right about that! Tall is beautiful. I wish I was tall. Unfortunately I am short (I'm literally 152cm lol) and sometimes it sucks. I think it is quite unfortunate that idols/actresses have to lie about certain traits in order to fit in the industry. But yeah, lots of C-nets joke and make memes about her height and she even acknowledges it herself lol.

Sun Yihan is not 5'7 lol. That's a lie. She uses 172cm as her height in order to get more roles since she's super tall already. In an interview where she was 16, she mentioned that she was 177cm. She's definitely a giant and even I was in disbelief too. But yeah, she's like 177cm, if not more. I do agree with the whole camera & angles though.
