This is a good question, I remember looking up some of the herbs while watching TBT. Did you catch any of the specific tea?

Was wondering how exactly they are related, the show mentioned they are cousins?

Also the chief producer, who also did The Double and Perfect Match

The sister is related to a secret that could implicate her family and ML is the inspector investigating it?

I started both but ended up focusing on this as found the other a bit predictable and boring.

Some of them r genuine I feel, especially the boss and the chubby girl who went out of her way to clear her name in college. But unfortunately they are part of the wider group of friends.

I just started ep30, there’s many great characters in this show, but for me, one of my favourites is Chris. Always look forward to seeing her and the actress kills it, her eyes r just so expressive.

I remembered doing that calculation when I started the donghua after drama finished. It went to plan initially, then I couldn’t resist and binged it in couple of weeks 🤣

I think this is set against a backdrop where long form dramas like these are losing popularity and budget against cheaper, more salacious short vertical dramas. So there’s attempt to introduce many actors/actresses as well as elements from short dramas.
