Oh! totally understand your point and it's a very common happening in the real world. Well if we look from that point of view considering it's highschool ,I guess we can't really define if Aoki is truely gay or bi since the only people he have shown interest in are Hashi and Ida with only one relationship out of the two. If the writer mentioned that he was depicting a bi,it would be clear because after all that's his intention.If not,well I guess we only stay curious unless Ida and Aoki suddenly breaks up and Aoki starts having feelings for someone else. 😂😂As for me,I just want to look at the point that he fell in love with 'A PERSON'. I woundn't necessarily want to define him as any(gay,bi or straight).

I'm glad. Though I understand your doubt. The series feels somewhat skipped even though all the parts are included,it felt like they cut to only parts showing their face so soon jumping through each scene because of the way it was captured in the camera or the angle of it which might have made you feel it's too fast even more than you felt in the manga. But well after all they are trying to compress everything into 20 mins and only 10 ep. Let's hope it can satisfy the viewers who are loving it in the end.

I was not thinking of replying back to this comment due to the difference in opinions/thoughts but then for anyone who will read these comments and take it wrong,I want to point out few things.
It seems you have quite a narrow view about the clear line drawn between bi,gay or any other gender. Having a crush or attraction doesn’t necessarily mean you are in love. And loving only one person doesn’t mean that he/she is necessarily straight/gay unless they are only particularly interested in a specific gender. And also lemme clarify interested doesn't mean you are in love. Love is a much serious,deeper aspect of all the above emotions. This is the response to your comment in general sense.
But talking about kiekoi which I did not want to defend because everybody has their opinions,lemme clarify few things. He was interested in Hashi (proving he is bi )but gave up the idea that he can be anything more to her. During all this,Ida was there for him,caring about his feelings which makes one feel safe and cared for. Slowly getting to know Ida ,his feelings grew stronger which eventually turned to love to the point that he felt too much remorse over losing him. Also he knew Hashi already has someone she likes which made it easier for him to get over his feelings of infatuation.Not every interest turns to love,not every likes turn to love and definitely not every attraction turns to love. But then again everybody has a different take on hiw they like the plot and I respect that though please refrain from saying this manga was bisexual baiting because it wasn't.

It’s totally alright for you to feel so!I thought the same but as the story progress,I realised Aoki was never in love with Hashi. He looked up to her,she was like an idol for her,someone caring and thoughtful who he thought of as an angel and confused his feelings.He liked her indeed but didn’t love her. His heart never beat fast for her. He was just happy when she was with him because of the bright and good energy she gave.And the feelings got confused I guess whereas it was only with Ida that his heart started beating fast,he was constantly hurt with anything to do with Ida to the point where he cried and constantly was looking for him ,he was also such a mess when Ida and Kokoro got close whereas he was ready to support hashi immediately,he was sad but he wasn’t heartbroken as he felt with Ida. Like how it ends in ep 4-I realize now that I truely fell in love with you. That’s how I interpreted it. So I guess we can look at it from different angles.

People are loving kiekoi but I do think no matter 10 or 12 episodes,the show itself is slightly less demanding in terms of CM due to the plot. Whilst there is not much intimate scenes involve in Cm as well,it’s a divergence of the regular school/university related BL thus giving a larger audience of all age the satisfaction.Not everyone is into teenage school dramas.And there is already too much tension between leads in CM starting from ep 1 itself as Kurosawa was already in love. Here the tension And chemistry is there but due to the misunderstandings and Ida’s confusion of not understanding what like/love is,the plot seems to be relaxed yet fast paced. I like both and leads of both dramas are good actors but maybe due to experience/age of CM leads,their acting surpass that of kiekoi in my personal opinion. But I think the chemistry of kiekoi leads in real life is outstanding,it’s fluffy whereas kieta and eiji seem very much like good buddies outside of the drama.

As it turns out the name written on the eraser is actually Aida and not Ida. Aida is Akkun’s real name. The ‘A’ part got used up and hence the misunderstanding. So they each end up being in love with different guys instead which works out quite well.

Yeah just wait till the series is done. It will be more exciting. But I do recommend reading the manga after that.

So happy to see it receive the recognition it so deserves. May they achieve greater heights. This is the one drama I wish for a lot of people to recognise no matter the actors become famous or not because the series itself is a wondrous journey for us to watch.

I’m happy that this drama speaks to you but lemme tell you as a straight person that it speaks to us as well. Their sexual orientation was a major part of it but so was their every other emotion displayed a part of everybody. This is almost everybody’s childhood be they straight or not.This drama touched the heart of many.

I have given up on immortality completely. Having read that is satisfactory enough since I like to read more than watch. If it releases,it will be even better.
