I think the part where Ida suddenly holds Aoki's hand in the carrier was improvised by Meme because 1.Michie's reaction didn't look like he was acting when he looked down 2. After that Michie straight looked straight into the camera and smiled shyly which wasn't suppose to happen if they were acting. I felt the crew was trying to capture some natural moments and suddenly meme pulled that trick. Rest of the hand holding were all planned and it was apparent. Or am I just reading too much into this? haha
Yeah I mean common,I don’t know how creepy he gets in the novel but according to the series he isn’t as much…
Yeah I agree that Kiyoi has protected Hira as well and was never the same as the others. He treated him better than the rest but I think we can't deny the fact that he still was a bully whether it was light or not or whether he protected him or not. And even for Hira's case,if the character Kiyoi deems him as a stalker in his own sense,I guess that's how the character fits to him. But yet again,I didn't really feel the stalker vibe from Hira much in a personal sense. We can't count him following Kiyoi after the audition and graduation because he basically wanted to just talk to him. Meanwhile about the studio and the play,I guess it's upto everyone how they percieve it.But I think in reality if someone likes you, they do come to see you giving a performance or as I said if it's somewhere nearby, they do try and find you just to get a glimpse and that really doesn't make one a stalker especially if the other person has not responded negatively his feelings. Stalker is a much more serious term to be labelled into this I feel. Both characters are written flawed and that's reality which is all the more reason why I love this show. On a personal note-It's definitely not easy to fight bullies and become a victim yourself because I became one as well protecting people who actually didn't deserve it but then even if I return to those days,I still wouldn't bully anyone just for my own sake because every little role you play can destroy a person.
My essay moment 😂Why some people are making a monster out of Hira as if he is a Killing stalking lead? After…
Yeah I mean common,I don’t know how creepy he gets in the novel but according to the series he isn’t as much of a stalker or a creep as all the male leads in whatever heterosexual drama exist. They would kiss the girl without permission, literally stalks each and every movement of the girl and obsess or be possessive over them as if they own them even before being in a relationship. But then no one feels something is wrong in all these dramas. Hira just saw Kiyoi and followed him to the nearby dance studio only once,it wasn't even to his home which I think happens in reality if we see our crush somewhere,we at least look for them if they are still nearby to catch a glimpse. And he doesn't do anything to Kiyoi,he protects him and respects him and never cross the limit. He even stopped contacting him no matter how much he liked him. The only problematic part was he falling in love with his bully but he has a reason for that according to a part of the novel which I read - He knows Kiyoi isn't a good person ,he likes him because Kiyoi was everything he wanted to be,strong and confident, standing tall which was why he fell in love. In all honesty,he is one of the most respectful, passionate, caring, true lover I have seen in any series.
The more problematic is Kiyoi being a bully. I get he has his reasons but no shit justifies such actions whether big or small but well he knows where he is wrong in the end.
Both actors portrayed their character so well. I really love this series. Fits among my top favs.
Ok I officially hate whoever is responsible for casting. They should have selected someone not as cute for Koyama’s role. Now I want both of them to have Hira. Too much for my weak heart.
What I love about This show is that all the actors portrayed their roles really well. They executed whatever role was given to the perfectly from the bully to Iruma, everyone did great which is the biggest reason to why this show attracts me.
Totally agree as well! IMO, Kiyoi was clearly waiting for a confession when he says to Hira something like "don't…
According to the novel, kiyoi wanted to say "I wouldn't mind if we stay in touch." But once he saw Hira,he couldn't say the words loud and instead ended up kissing him as a sign.
I believe they made the kiss slightly blocked by the hands and awkward because the director wants to portray the supressed pull and push feelings of Kiyoi where he hasn't let his feelings be too transparent while showing a subtle sign of interest so that the other doesn't let go.
They have shot this so beautifully that for the first time I didn’t feel 23 mins were short. It really felt like watching an episode of a long series. The camera work, direction, editing and acting all blended well together. Don't tell me I'm the only one who felt so.
I was loving the ending song but then the opening song started rubbing off on me even better when I continuously listen to it.This series is the only thing I eagerly wait for these days. No other shows straight or bl be grabbing my attention now,I have resorted to reading mangas intead durin my free time.
Really not expecting a kiss from a jdrama BL, I've only watched a handful but the really soft ones never seem…
I don't either. And considering both are quite famous idols with their magazines getting sold out in secs,I had no expectations even before the series aired. But the build up of we might kiss in this ep along with the increase frequency of headpatting reminded me of 2gether.
The head patting is cute but damn does it remind me of 2gether . Don’t tell me the ending scene will be a hi-fi,I might disown the whole drama. 😂😂 Well I will adopt the real michieda and meme instead.
