Every theory sounds true but the fact Min Chae didn't know the squad is unsettling for me. You mean they didn't…
That never bothered me much because no matter how much you go through, people slip away. Keeping in touch till University is still somewhat realistic but once you get married and near 40 , it's almost impossible. And KMC not knowing this is very realistic,I don't know who my parents were friends with in highschool or uni for that matter. We all are busy growing up to bother knowing who were in our parents life unless they play a significant role in our life as well
If the writers wanted it to end the way it did, This should have been a 20 episode drama where they could have…
It felt like they got the good ratings and popularity already and the suspense will make the people stay till the end,so let's just wrap it up however without much work. Why waste energy and time when we already we are getting the money kinda thing.π
I'm more than ready to accept their ending. I might even say the way they bid "Goodbye" to each other was beautiful…
I know many will say " I t's just a drama". We shouldn't try to get too deep into it. And that's exactly the reason why I'm so hurt. I don't really devote myself unwaveringly to any drama or movies,I'm quite critical about it. So I don't particularly have lingering attachments after I finish. If the endings are a mess,I don't even bother talking about it anymore. But this one,I followed it deeply and passionately because I thought this is the only other drama that can give me the 1988,ITSAY feels. And that's why it hurts more than it should.
I'm more than ready to accept their ending. I might even say the way they bid "Goodbye" to each other was beautiful but with all honesty, this episode was done so poorly. It isn't about unanswered questions but rather about the unrealistic nonsense disneyland they had created around the mc shortcomings and how there is a sudden 180Β° turn of the character's personality with rushed and numerous time skips. Sorry but I can't seem to stop ranting, I even woke up numerous times during my sleep because I felt so hurt. This was the only drama from which I had so much expectation after a long few years. I'm not hurt by the end of Baekdo cp but by the way how the whole ep spoiled this beautiful drama for me. The main reason I gave up watching kdrama was the cringe, the unrealistic portrayal and the rushed endings without a proper closure as if you have got to poop. And this drama did the exact same. And I hate that I will remember this more instead whenever I hear anyone talk about it.
Is there any kdrama cp who unite in another kdrama? Any idea guys? I don't think I have seen one.
I hope these two reunite again though the chances are very low because I think Kim Taeri wouldn't choose to work with the same actor again. Joohyuk might but Taeri is known to do minimum works especially dramas and to reunite with the same actor is a far-fetched dream which we might only get once they grow a lot older.
Want to bet what was the most unrealistic scene? For me it's Seungkwan and Yijin's brother ending up together. Waiting till 26 for her when you don't even talk to one another at all.You got to be kidding me.
I did know they would never end up together when Yijin said " You have to fall in love for real to know what breakup feels like." But then who would have thought they would make this sad ending into pure messy, rushed, confused, meaningless plot.
I'm not so particularly curious about other questions but how on earth did Heedo's photo end up in her own album? Yijin had it even when he was in US. Heedo never visited him after he returned and even if it was in the diary left for her, this particular scene happened before that.
Keeping all the loopholes aside, the RUSH ,damn it the RUSH guys. The way they rush everything in one whole episode. I get the time skips but well they didn't have time skips all these 14 episodes ,dragging every last bit of scene into the drama even adding how to barbecue and wash vegetables and then they suddenly started putting in number of time skips into the last to episodes, not to mention 3 times in the finale-6m,7y and present. Can't kdramas grow out of rushed endings? It all feels so fame and money oriented. They know if they gain popularity in the starting, people will stay till the end ,so they do whatever they wish. The biggest reason I have stopped watching kdramas for few years until this one came along. C-dramas/J-dramas fair much better in this category
Lol everything seems so rushed, especially the break up. I'm glad yu rim had a happy ending and like I've mentioned…
True I honestly felt this was a Heedo -Yurim sports story. They gave too much focus on the fencing and life of these two characters that the rest were just mere sidelines. The poster should have been of Heedo and yurim with their fencing swords.
For those who think the people in the comments are angry because Baekdo isn't the end game, please open your eyes and read the comments before just writing whatever comes to mind. People are lashing out not because they didn't end up together but because the whole finale was nonsense. Everyone ,even Russian Yurim is all happy and giggles with her bf. Even Suengkwan have the brother waiting for her like forever meanwhile the mc who had the most mature, understanding relationship suddenly were so self-absorbed. The ending of the side characters shouldn't have been so perfect if it was suppose to be realistic and technically speaking such an understanding, giving person like Heedo existing while being a high schooler at that is the most, most unrealistic character ome can ever built. We loved her because she was too kind, too good, too perfect but that doesn't exist honestly at such a young age.
Funny thing is I thought I would cry if this was a sad ending and I was ready for it with a heavy heart but all I could do was make a " What bullshit is this?" kinda face with a scrunch up nose.
