Damn! I can’t stop thinking about the deleted scenes. That’s the only thing that is stopping me from moving forward. Not hearing that they already filmed them would have been better. This is torture. This is why they should always air such series in one go especially novels written by CJD. She knows her novels are famous and as always the series adaptations exceed expectations and becomes a phenomenon. She should have already predicted this would happen and release it all at once if she genuinely wanted to publish her works into a series without disturbances. I blame her. 😅

I will be honest guys,as much as I liked the cast and the series and also the novel,if I actually was being sincere enough, this series started out pretty good,well paced and almost every arc included as in the novel. But once they started cutting down scenes and chopped up the parts,it kinda felt fast paced,bits missing and some raw emotions that was supposed to be felt by us as audience robbed. Because we loved the chemistry of Tian andZiyu so much,we tend to overlook it. Don’t get me wrong,it is not bad but the latter parts didn’t do as much justice to the feelings we felt in the initial stages. I can only wish they release the full version someday in the future hopefully which likely will never happen. But well,it was a ride.

As much as I loved the series, I think China should stop making BL altogether until the ban is lifted. The whole ride wasn’t as joyful as it should have been,the constant regret of starting it and fearing a ban suddenly, the sadness of hearing scenes removed,the turmoils these actors go through because of antis and govn surveillance, I guess it’s better not to start rather than go through all these. Loved the series but I’m also glad it’s over because not only waiting but the tense feeling of what’s the next update about literally drained my soul. But this is just me. Adios Revenged Love,it was definitely a ride,best wishes to the cast,directors and crew. I’m not leaving a space open for hope but rather bidding you a bittersweet farewell.

I realise TXN’s eyes are actually bigger than Ziyu. He had to squint in the show to act tough but he really got big eyes. How is this man so perfect? Except for his singing and dance of course.

I’m not like we need to have an intimate scene but I wish they had a proper kissing scene in the last few ep. At least after the patch up. They had too many in the initial episodes that it kinda feels empty now. I can still see the love and care in their eyes but since we had such scenes initially ,you expect it to be there. Like something is missing.
Bdw, the way TXN and Ziyu hug so tightly everytime makes me feel like they are actually in love. I can never be an actor,I would start questioning myself with those hugs. LOL

I’m talking about only CC and GCY. And bdw they have never slept together before, I don’t know which version of translation you read. Anyway, I’m getting really tired of arguing on this particular comment. If you think they have such feelings so be it. I don’t think they do. Let’s just end it on that note.

Let’s agree that it’s subjective. I agree the writer wrote things which shouldn’t happen among friends and I’m not justifying it. She was a teenager and made mistakes with her writing as she said so herself considering how she wanted to story to actually look like. However for the drama,I can say those silly little pecks happen among same sex friends in real life as greeting or part of games because I have seen it.
But keeping the incidents aside,the advice to read the novel was because the writer explicitly wanted to convey that there was absolutely no romantic feelings involved between CC and GCY in many conversations. Let’s just say it’s subjective as to how one reads and views the novel. And with this,I’m not justifying what these friends do in the novel. I’m just speaking of what the writer was trying to show.

Wait what? Who showered together in a single bath tub? I never said that’s normal. You said showering and not bathing. You need to correct your Eng first. And I have said pecks not kiss. I have seen people do it, there’s nothing for me to justify things that I have seen in real life among same sex friends. Some culture even consider kiss on lip as greetings. It happens. Not everything has to fit in your thoughts and norms. Things that exist in reality can’t be just brushed off as no,it shouldn’t be because you have different perspectives.And I also wrote however even if it’s common,I wouldn’t like it either if my partner does so I wish WS communicate instead of manipulating an incident. Read the other comments before trying to paint me as something else.

I think it depends on the situation in real life and also the culture.If it’s a dare,a game,people do it without giving any meaning to it. But I understand WS’s jealousy. I wouldn’t like my partner to do that either. However he should have talked it out with CC and ask him not to as he feels uncomfortable instead of manipulating him into trying to break a friendship. But well,that’s why we got a drama. Logic shouldn’t be applied here.

All I can say is read the novel if you doubt it. It explicitly states the reason why he keeps calling GCY. I didn’t make it up.

Showering together is a very common thing even in army camps and such. That’s not even questionable. People who go for swimming, shower in one whole common area naked,saunas etc. It’s common in Asian countries. Not everything is level gay just because you hold a friend’s hand.

Not really. Even in the novel,they are nothing more than friends. Both are straightforward people,if they liked each other,one would have pursued the other.
