It’s because he always drinks and plays with GCY whenever he has a fight with WS. So he is like someone for him to depend on when in a bad place. Therefore,he was drunk when he called out his name. No feelings involved except friendship.

My friends have given pecks on each other. It’s quite common while young to show affection to your friend without thinking much. No one reads into it. It’s like giving a peck on the cheek as a greeting. I understand WS must have felt jealous but he should have confronted CC and ask him not to do that instead of resorting to hurting him with manipulation.
ZY is good but TXN’s acting,damn! He can really make you feel it’s all real. TXN can pack a punch with his skills. Boy deserves big projects screaming main character.

Well the writer was really young when she wrote the novel,let’s just say she made few mistakes here and there to in understanding human emotions in a relationship.
After the breakup ,they just include the story of Wu’s mother passing and then CCand WU makes up after few weeks. So,it’s all put into 2 chapters only with no fillers but these whole process takes up a timeline of 2 months. So,it’s more like a time skip even in the novel,they will likely do so in the series as well.
I’m glad they changed the version of CC fighting with WZ is due to texting WSW because in novel it was due to WZ beating up WS. It was unbearable to think WSW was hurt seeing that but thankfully they changed that version in the series.
