Everything is fine but the music they put whenever they are about to make out makes me laugh out loud. It just stops me from feeling the butterflies and instead takes me to those scenes where Yueyue tries to seduce CC. They really should change it. 😅😅

Yes. The reviews rating it 1 is just hilarious and for such reasons. I bet they have watch only fluffy shows which doesn’t exist bdw. Even if it doesn’t suit their taste,the min rating for this series would be a 5 at least. I haven’t rated it 10 myself because I can see flaws while appreciating the series as well but a 1? Do humor me on how that happened?
It’s so irritating to see people judging the show based on the r**e scene. So I will explain for the first and last time. Yes,he ordered it but he had reasons. The boy was sleeping with CC and under his own roof,he stole his snakes aka his children away for money which coincidentally happened to be sold to CCs father. The boy stole them even before he knew he would be selling them indirectly to his father. If people listen to the entire dialogue,it is said that he did it before the dad ordered it. The snakes are like family to CC,more important than humans perhaps. But now in no way I’m condoning it even with a reason. However people should know CC’s character is not glamorised nor in the novel and neither in the show. He has been written as a rude,unfeeling,gangsta type of man who only behaves otherwise for Wei wei. The writer has written him with flaws and those are put down by the writer as black flag herself ,even Weiwei confronts him for his past behaviour later on. So people need to understand it’s like watching a dark character and admiring the acting and the changes. Nobody is going to fall for a dark character in real life and the series has not glamorise it either. It has been shown that he behaved wrongly explicitly,his behaviour is talked about as bad and unhealthy by the other characters in the series itself. Liking a character doesn’t mean people willl find the same as sexy or attractive in real life. People are loving CC character for the relationship he has with WW/fiction. It’s like loving Joker’s portrayal in Batman if you get what I mean. If they glamorised his character and everybody in the series supported his behaviour,it would have been a problematic show because it teaches that it’s alright to do those stuffs but it hasn’t been shown like that. So,people need to sit down and watch the genre without thinking it’s going to be Christmas and Santa Claus. Genres exist for a reason. If you can’t handle it,I suggest you go back to Disney land.
