At this point, I sound like a broken record, but at the halfway mark, the drama is done exceptionally well. It’s much better than the already stellar webtoon.
The pacing, the character development, the chemistry, the acting, the directing and just everything about it is top notch qaluality.
Of all the Boys Over Flower remakes, this one is probably my favorite. I like the parts of the story they changed to keep with the modern times, and there are many laugh out loud moments.
It’s one of those dramas you just have to turn off your brain to watch.

I grew up reading and watching Hana Yori Dango, so this IP will always have a spot in my heart… but rewatching this drama, it’s so cringey. The acting is so, so horrible 😂
Yes. Certain things like voices… doesn’t need to literally be the same as their game or anime version. Can you imagine if all Japanese live actions had the high pitched anime voices? I just can’t. It’s a pet peeve.
