Love the FL, acting, script writing and movie premise, but really dislike miscasting of a 31 ML who (just my opinion) I do not find attractive and ruined the whole vibe for me

It’s Cantonese versus Mandarin dialects. I came to read the comments for the very same reason. To see if someone else noticed and could or would explain why both dialects were being spoken interchangeably (which in reality is kind of unusual?).

I started watching this drama based upon your description and also your comment that the subs were tolerable. Thanks for that! What a surprisingly entertaining gem this is! Granted it’s low budget and certainly not perfect, but it’s an interesting storyline that got me hooked from start to finish and the acting for such a young cast was very good (and emotional!). Finished all episodes and would recommend it to anyone who is on the fence

Absolutely hated his aggressive over the top bullying behavior. It’ll take a lot for me as a viewer to forgive his character. Unfortunately I think the show and FL will be more forgiving

Vico SDL: You and I are like minded. I feel the same way towards the ML and her all around shabby treatment in general. I am also suspecting that you’re right with your predictions in terms of how they may end up tying things up in a nice neat bow. Too bad. I love this FL lead as an actress and her character in this drama deserves a better ML and resolution (if you’re right about your predictions) would be so unsatisfying!

I absolutely love the FL lead! Both her acting and her beauty are otherworldly and super impressive, but I’m hating how the storyline is changing with the ML’s aggressive bullying

Don’t know if I’m imagining things but it REALLY looked to me like ZJ and Xiao Fei were mutually exchanging some very meaningful glances/exchanges while she was on stage before the melee broke out. I have NOT read the book so this is speculation on my part but ZJ seemed laser focused on her and vice verse

I’m glad I’m not the only one who is finding it boring. It’s all cliches and formula that’s been done over and over before. There are no surprises, everything is predictable and the pace is dragging. Lastly, most if not all the attempts of humor just aren’t funny. Disappointing to say the least

This girl is going to be a star. Once again, she plays another Little Lusi role in "Hidden Love" and is so funny, cute, spunky and entertaining!

I love her character and portrayal. Seriously, such an underrated performance from such a talent
