A soul-killer relationship

I truly, from the bottom of my heart, hope no one ever falls into the kind of toxic relationship the main characters are in. A relationship that drains them, wears them down completely. The sheer heaviness and discomfort I feel through the screen while watching their dynamic is just unnatural. Please, never let anyone view a relationship like this as romantic or healthy.

He grew up carrying guilt, and his deep sense of unworthiness stems right from how his mother treated him. The female lead stepped in and saved him from a couple of beatings or some bullying, but she tied him down with a lifelong sense of guilt and responsibility. Over the years, he ended up living like a ghost—living for others, not for himself or his own desires, but for her and her family, managing her family's house chores and fixing her siblings' problems. Even if her father died while saving him , HE WAS JUST A CHILD, how could he be blamed for that . She knew he was drown in guilt serving her family for years , and she couldnt confront him and tell him the truth.

She’s a strange human being; she claims she loves him while making him feel like an object of pity. She says she loves him, yet tells him, 'My heart fluttered for someone else.' She says she loves him while watching him drown in guilt, unable to wake up from it until he completely lost himself, and she just let him keep going simply so she wouldn’t have to face herself in front of her family, or confront how cowardly she really is. Even her 'love' for him is just pity, and deep down he feels that, but he accepts it because he thinks even pity is a form of love. I don't blame him; he never experienced anyone loving him for who he is, never had anyone praise him or see anything good in him—until his female coworker came along. That’s when he started feeling like there is still a soul inside him... that there is still something within him with an identity independent of the female lead and her family.
Easily the worst relationship I’ve ever seen. Even when he starts feeling something toward his coworker, the female lead shows up in the most disgusting way possible to make him feel guilty—something she's an absolute expert at. She says, 'I am the one to blame,' just to make him drown even deeper in guilt. She blamed him for her career failures. Even when her own heart fluttered for someone else, she made him feel responsible for it, even if indirectly. A relationship like this is a soul-killer.
I will only be satisfied if they don't end up together, because a relationship like this is pure destruction for both of them
