The level of introspection is astounding - in a very good way. We are getting to see how different people react…
I agree with you completely ! Keep enjoying till it lasts. The new episodes are also beautiful...I am more hooked onto this drama than the weather is fine (which is apparently A piece of your mind's competititor) although I started watching that first !

I don't understand why people are having issues with this drama. Apparently the ratings were very low and they will be cutting short the drama. I think people who don't like this drama do not understand the rawness and sometimes the stubbornness of human emotions. The pace is slow they say !! What's the hurry people you are any ways staying at home because of COVID. I love the softness and the patience depicted by the characters (trying to understand one other and themselves). One dialogue that has stuck with me is "I am sufficiently miserable and sufficiently happy" which was a beautiful way of putting forward the character's angst. It is different from the run-of-the-mill dramas and which is what I like about it. I cannot even imagine any other actor apart from Jung Hae In playing the male lead. Jung Hae In expresses and emotes even when he has no lines to speak.

Looking forward to the episodes !

Lucky for me I have not hit a slump yet ! But reading your article and some of the comments I feel if the consumption of Dramas is not paced well it may lead to a slump. In the last 2 years (2019-2018) I have enjoyed several dramas. In the romance genre there was: One Spring Night, Something in the Rain, 100 days my prince and more. In fact the year 2018 came with the best of all Kdramas i.e. My Mister. It has to be my most favourite despite not being an out and out romance drama it made my heart flutter, my nose runny and haunted me for days after I finished watching it. Some other mentions of 2018 are The Smile Has Left your Eyes, Romance is a Bonus Book, Thirty but 17, Memories of Alahambra ! In 2019 also there were some good productions Dr John, Encounter, Be Melodramatic.
Although most Kdramas revolve around the tried and tested plot lines I feel the writing and productions will evolve (have already such as Because this is my first life, encounter, be melodramatic, the smile has left your eyes) but will the larger audience appreciate the shift from the tried and tested recipe ? Most have been addicted to the romantic genre which I believe re-uses most plot lines...I feel if one starts feeling a slump coming they should shift to the thriller/crime/mystery Kdramas.
