from ep 35 trailer, looks like mx has become successful n seek revenge from wu lang n marquis n she vowed to clear cwd name. she is back in the capital. n looks like she has the loyalty of cwd men n xiao wu called her madam still (furen). but she says she is now a widow.

I m very touched with the loyalty of both cwd n wjg soldiers towards their spouses. both sides stood protecting their madams. looks like both gals had earn the respect of the soldiers in their own ways.

looks like cwd n mx is 1 plus 1 greater than 2. whilst wjg n fy is 0.5 plus 0.5, they become 1.

I also Don understand why wjg din tell fy about mx refusal to leave w him. that would hv cleared up the air regarding mx wishes. then again wjg n fy are pretty stubborn that they will prob give excuses that she is angry w them or something silly like that. wjg prob think fy will not accept that.

story would hv been more satisfying if

1. they Don invest so much time first 7 episodes, then middle 5 to 6 ep story in wjg n mx n now it is hard to turn it around. that's why it's dragging now. cause its so hard to give them a u turn towards their current respective spouses.
2. develop more wjg n fy relationship. so that both cp makes sense. w wjg still hanging over mx at this pt and no plan at all to strengthen fy character which can be equally interesting. now it will not make sense if fy n wjg can work out btw that them.
3. we can see cwd n mx ever so slowly developing her feelings for him but they will not need to make it so draggy if in the first place she is not having so much scenes w wjg.
4. then we can hv all 4 can work together to fight the real villains. not up to 31 we r still seeing wjg being used to fight cwd. what a waste.

up till now I can see a pretty rushed ending. but I will stick to it. I think only for the good job of the actors n actresses. it has so much potential but the script is so muck up.

we r upset over wjg fickle existence. I was applauding when he walked away in the last hug n kiss n mx crying. I thought at least there is a last shred of dignity n integrity in him not to further damage both women if he has no guts to oppose his parents.

As for mx, we are not angry over her action of dizzying over wjg still but frustrated that she still held hope for wjg. the guy real reason n he told her as much that his parents does not approved of her birth. we just want to shake her to really wake up. it doesn't matter she is not accepting cwd. cwd or no cwd if u hv some self worth n respect wjg is a no.

to think about it, even though all 3 guys are like in love w moxi. none really make her their top priority except say maybe wu yin. under pressure wjg gave her up n cwd was preparing to marry bfy when his army food ration is in danger. n now another guy is threathening cwd asking him to divorce n demote mx to marrybhisvdaughter for alliajce. wu yin seems to hv a priority in his villain father too. maybe the whole show is really about little women n their struggles. those guys are pretty much completely useless

watching this trailer I really think wjg is useless. can we just get rid of him. neither fy not mx deserves a guy like that. even wu yin knows exactly what he want.

he hesitate in first place, choosing service over her, comes back after hear death n want her badly but when parents opposed he goes along n marry another gal, now moxi is w another man he literally want to ditch fy n married mx. the guy can't make up his mind. i totally agree with your analysis of fy. the two girls are just different. we just cannot compared a lady who is hardly even allowed of the house to one that literally grows up on the street. their love for each other is real, i can see fy tear up every time something goes wrong with moxti but she doesnt go teary over wjg including him ditching her on wedding night. and in ep 23 she even says if wjg will risk his life for her, she will not want that. bc his duties and priorities are to the country not her...wow!!!!....when she says that, i think it really makes moxi think. bc moxi thinking u just want to be with person u love. fy perspective really coincides with wjg attitude since beginning...that is to put the country first.

i agree with u. totally i still like both gals. yes moxi did not come clean and i m frustrated over it, bfy has a stubborness that does not match her ability to protect herself and same i feel frustrated. but i can understand both gals from their upbringing and background. And so far their love for each other is true. yes she was shouting moxi name and when wjg did not manage to take the drawings with her, she din really care but immediately get moxi to join her, she did not forget to bring the painting with her but forget to bring her own medicine. and there are numerous numerous time moxi can play on her feelings and in fact make use of fy weakness for her to make her do things she otherwise would not do. say moving to wan family.

As for her refusal of moving out of the cold room, she is the wife of the general designated to protect that city. now that city is taken over, that means her hubby had failed in his duties to the country and emperor. and if she gives even some impression of herself being well treated by 'rebellion' army, can u guys get the implication....how any party like other fiefdom leaders or even wu lang or marquis would have say that look at how the wife is treated like an honorable guest during the city overtaken time. worst is wjg will be seen as colluding and opening door to the rebels. in those days, it is better to die than being accused that way cause for rebellion it is usually 9 generations of clan execution. so i still support what she does. she also did not get angry with moxi for befriending cwd. she did says he is your friend but he cannot be mine. so she did not self righteously reprimand her. in politics in even today's world how many honourable leaders were taken down due to the carelessness or actions of their wives. like it or not husband and wife are 1 body. they represent one and another.

i think we critisize fy and her 'uprightness' and stubborness of stupidity and mx and her refusal to speak truth or even her sneakiness because we have a very modern viewpoint of how women is to be. for me, i think the gals will not wrong each other or harm each other knowingly.
