Charming and sweet with all the tropes we love
A sweet and quick drama with some somewhat predictable tropes - the office romance, the chaebol male lead, a hidden nerdy hobby, the childhood trauma, the Kopiko placement - and the number of times someone stumbles and was caught by another character in slow motion, don’t even get me started lol. But let’s be honest, sometimes that’s exactly what you want in a drama. It’s a cute romantic story that delivers everything you want for a lighthearted watch. I found the pacing quite good and watched it in just a few days. The characters are pretty well developed too and the “B” couple was very cute and somewhat unconventional. No spoilers but the ending was just so sweet and surprisingly meaningful. Definitley worth a watch, especially if you liked dramas like What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, King The Land, or Her Private Life.
