They are good friends in real life from what I can tell, after working together for several years. He even attended her graduation with flowers. PP is so quirky and bright, she really lifts up Kao's quietness and their compatibility is quite special. Even teased that no one can flirt with PP cause there seems to be an unspoken idea that they are together, so cute. They really do support each other. I can see why fans fell in love with them and constantly ship them, it's really hard not to :-). I might have to watch the other couples to give a fair assessment though.
Turns out KaoPP are now the most popular Dhevaprom couple.
I love watching them off-drama screen. Incredibly cute, great chemistry and almost feels like they are inseparable. I enjoyed watching their blossoming friendship despite the awful scriptwriting. Kao even admits that PP is sort of his ideal and she made cake and celebrated with him on his birthday with fans, super sweet. They kept it natural and said time will tell irl even if they are focused on work now. Seems like they both have good personalities and hard-working too. Due to popular demand, they even have an upcoming movie and an unannounced big project as a couple again so I am super stoked for them cause they play it so convincingly that it makes me feel they are for real. I am not familiar with the other couples so I can't comment.
Comment about the actors...Second couple better actors than the main couple. Kao in other scenes looked like he…
I don't usually watch lakorns but got hooked after seeing KaoPP natural chemistry. Kao actually sounds robotic at times and I'm thinking it's some of those cringy lines he had to recite so I do blame it on the script and horrible writing. I think given another chance, he'd do much better. I didn't like the second couple's boring and forced storyline and didn't think they were better actors than the main but to each their own. PP has more facial expressions and can emote well but she was stuck with an immature and annoying character to play so it's the crappy scriptwriter.
This is so odd. For an upcoming talented actress, why is her name not attached to any projects? I'm seeing other actresses get more work after another than her. Is she blacklisted or something? Or she taking a long break from dramas?
I’m reading this novel and just found out it’s being adapted. I watched the female lead in Everyone Loves…
Everyone loves me was crappy. Back to the Brink is her best work so far, I really love her character here so feisty and loyal. The visuals are something else too. She was also pretty good in Scent of Time.
When I first read this synopsis, I thought I would be on a ride for a cute, sweet romance. The idea of Cheewan…
The screenwriter herself said she is bias towards Cheewa so she ultimately made it her mission to destroy the main leads, to tear apart their cute chemistry built up, which I thought was impossible to do, but she did it and make their characters unlikable. Everyone is spewing crap at her for her singlehandedly killing a drama with potential and her arrogance apparently isn't helping her. I might go far enough to say she has a personal vendetta against Kao or PP, but luckily they re-created their awesome chemistry off-screen, that's what saved this drama from being a complete train-wreck. It was more entertaining to follow them in their interviews and variety shows.
i started this drama with high hopes but stopped at ep 7 because i dont feel like watching anymore. probably because…
I hear you. the outdated writing is so mediocre coupled with the nonsensical plot and cringey lines. If you stopped at 7 episodes, I think that's good enough, you do not want to see to the end, it gets crazier and makes your blood boil cause the scriptwriter is so bias towards Cheewa and the main leads gets demoted to extras, no kidding.
So it was the decision of the scriptwriter to change everything and apparently she liked the character of Cheewa…
I'm not usually a fan of blacklisting but in this case it warrants it. She one handedly ruined this drama's potential unnecessarily for her selfish motives. I don't think Cheewa had much good personality traits, esp the part where she lashed out at Cheewan for asking her about the baby's dad, I didn't feel how any close friendship, she was always in her own world but only calmed down a bit when she was with Poom. But the scriptwriter deliberately made Cheewan and Saruj look bad. The ending was kind of dumb when both men proposed and Cheewa got her kiss first with the better angle of course. Even literally the last scene in the snow had to be about Cheewa, you've got to wonder the obvious bias. I wish they re-shoot this drama with the original novelist to replace the crappy scriptwriter. But I also think it's not entirely her fault, was there no one to say "hey, maybe this isn't a great idea." Maybe she has that much power, Director didn't chime in cause she's stubborn/arrogant and doesn't listen to anyone's opinion. Wonder who in the right mind will hire her after the mess she pulled and she doesn't seem pleasant to work with?
I actually partly disagree, watch the first half and drop it after that cause that was actually decent. The main…
It's such a shame thinking about it. The most interesting couple barely gets any screen time but the most boring, toxic and depressing characters gets so much it completely ruined it. I can't believe they wasted so much potential. Cheewa was not interesting me so I don't know why the scriptwriter favored her so much. I can see why fans are upset and cheated, I think they really like the main leads and we barely get to see their story develop to what it should be in the novel.

My post wasn't about the bad scriptwriting. I am as much frustrated with the awful writing. You had recommend others don't watch at all, I just said it's still watchable but only the first half is worth their time. Anything else is for them to decide and criticize afterwards - I still think the cast of actors and actresses still did a good job, the songs and cinematography despite the terrible script.
I actually partly disagree, watch the first half and drop it after that cause that was actually decent. The main leads does not deserve this, they did their best and their newfound chemistry makes me their fan even when the drama went downhill.
She at LEAST recognizes the mountain of criticisms. She didn't choose to full romance route cause she got wants…
I'm not justifying she is off the hook for being a bad storyteller and owning up to her mistakes. She doesn't have to apologize, it's not like she committed a crime for so-called poor creativity, it just means she's terrible at her job and no one will follow her future projects if her name is attached to it.
what’s the scriptwriter saying? the streets are saying she’s arrogant and doesn’t want to apologise after…
She at LEAST recognizes the mountain of criticisms. She didn't choose to full romance route cause she got wants to try something different and got inspiration from another novel? She knows fans are mad cause of the unnecessary drama, Cheewan's childish mistakes and Sruj's ex-lover. She believes the main leads passed the difficult test. Her explanation is that FL never got her heart broken in her life? She still graduated and married him after her studies. She will not hesitate on her choice and Sruj will always be loyal to her alone even when he was with his ex-lover, which will bring us back to how it was suppose to be the novel, she is saying people: there is no perfection in real life and everyone makes mistakes so through patience, it will be better in the near future. Like Cheewa getting pregnant and making mistakes in life, deal with the consequences and still found her real love in Poom. Said she isn't ignoring comments but will be using that feedback to improve in her future works. To me, Cheewa and Muslin's story is a big black hole, the audience don't want it and should NOT have taken up that much spotlight - I wouldn't mind if they gave more time for the 5 monkeys instead. She can't explain why for an hour half ep, the main leads get LESS than 5 min of screen time while the supporting cast takes up the rest is good for development? I've never watched one EVER like this where the leads here somehow get demoted to extras. Funny thing though, she did a half-apology, asking people to re-watch it to understand her perspective. She fails to understand about "over" creativeness is a double-edged sword as plot holes become illogical, incoherent and bizarre. She fails to remember her audience, who I hope realize this is only "entertainment" and a time for us to relieve our a stressful day. She still screwed up, no doubt about that. She's arrogant but not terrible since she explained herself. I'm not an avid lakorn fan, but out of the selected chosen ones, I still stand by that I will never watch any of her future projects she is in.
I'm glad she is taking the heat for this, cause the cast doesn't deserve this. In fact, they are the ones trying to save it with promos. If it weren't for the chemistry, no one would bother to watch it.
First to comment. Popped in here after watching Dhevaprom Poncheewan to transfer over PP and Kao's amazing chemistry. Excited to see them back for a movie but wish it was rom-com.
I give this drama 6/10 because of Kao and PP, not because of the storyline. Too much issues with too little time…
Author probably smashing the TV thinking those fools (aka production house, scriptwriter, dirctor who's all responsible except the cast) are lazy, sleeping on the job or just outright lost their minds. I would feel that and make a formal complaint against them. Ditto to the translation part for us international fans to calm our collective minds cause this storyline is playing with my IQ.
i wish their kiss could appease me but i’m so mad with this stupid storyline!!!!
How could that cardboard kiss even appease anyone, maybe if the storyline didn't suck so bad? I'm pretty sure they do could have done better than that. The production house, scriptwriter and director probably know what's up with the uproar so they backed out and hide behind the camera for their shoddy work, while patting themselves on the back for a job well, or terribly done imo excluding the cast. So obvious and hilarious. They even dragged Cheewa and Poom to Switzerland cause they feel like the main leads can't leave them out, aren't they suppose to take care of the infant, new mothers don't leave their newborn like that, what is she doing there frolicking with her new man? Another plot hole. If they dragged to ep17 with the crazy ex there, I rather they just end it swiftly today to save me a headache!
THE END. Meh, not sure what I think of it. Still so many holes unanswered and feels crammed. They think an unsatisfying lip peck is suppose to wipe off all the stains in the drama. I really like PP Kao but this here doesn't do them justice. They should definitely bring their newfound chemistry to another rom-com cause this ain't it. I rate this overall show 6/10 just for the lead's chemistry alone, that's considered high for this crappy storyline which I give 2/10. Their new movie is horror, and he's a ghost so I don't think we'll see any real romance but maybe flashbacks in there. I enjoyed reading the heated thoughtful discussions here every weekend but I won't miss the dumb plots anymore to keep me sane. I can't wait til I see the next PP Kao drama, I'm sure they will collaborate in one after their movie. Until then, hope to see them on-screen as the main CP again to end on a positive note.
Yeah mother of Cheewan was right all along, that guy can't be trustworthy with his constant wavering and sets…
That's why I want to read the novel cause it sounds more logical and intelligent than this hot mess. Too bad it's not translated otherwise I can envision what could have been.
Yeah mother of Cheewan was right all along, that guy can't be trustworthy with his constant wavering and sets…
Rightfully so. They are trying so hard to make everyone question their own intelligence and testing out everyone's patience which we have none for since it's the finale. I hope they bash them til no tmr cause the scriptwriter and director deserves it, the cast is otherwise amazing.
Yeah mother of Cheewan was right all along, that guy can't be trustworthy with his constant wavering and sets…
Did they just do a time skip? How did they reconcile? Cheewan looks happy to accept the flowers, but no tension after seeing him show up out of no where? Did I miss something or they cut scenes? Fill me in. This is what happens when you cram stupid plot lines in the last ep. This is getting really weird.
