I found something on my bucket list to watch. Episode 1 was off to an interesting start and then the second cemented it to be one of favs going forward to continue on.

Highly doubt it will air this month so tamper your expectations, the rumors are that it is promoted in next years lineup. The waiting game continues...

wow it feel like this thread is going on forever. They should hurry up and announce a date of release at least. feels almost criminal to keep waiting for just a confirmation. its taking soooo long.

It seems like ZY likes taking on strong FL roles. This is another time-travel series for her but seems like an interesting one. She has an eye for interesting storylines.

To be honest, the storyline is really bland. I can't really feel the leads chemistry and cannot help compare her sizzling chemistry in a BP. But I really like KSJ as an actress so she kept me on this drama. She definitely is spot on her character though.

Seungri is a puppet and always appear that way, I've just witnessed his fake image being unveiled through this show. It felt infuriating at him when he made those counter arguments to dismiss a trainee's POV.

From what I see, that's cause MDL netizens are more vocal and see through the BS and know when to speak out against injustices without restraint. Or iqiyi manipulated their own ratings.

The low ratings is solely for the crappy judges tbh pointing fingers especially directed to LEE SEUNG GI. Unbelievable that he is the nation's boy in his heydays and acts all bias and pretentious making those inhumane comments at a brave trainee who actually had morals, couldn't bare seeing the torture and decided to speak up against it. This is a new sketchy side of him. The nerve he has to counter a righteous comment that resonated with the average person, I don't even know if he knows that this type of "normal" to them is "abnormal" in REAL LIFE. I don't buy it at all. How I see it is that they are robots themselves, they live in their own bubbles and glorify this mental/physical abuse under the guise of perseverance. I know the entertainment industry is shady and dark. The only difference here seems like they put SOME of this brutal crap out on TV to bare it to the audience as if its some sort of initiation to see who has the stamina to make it to the top in this cut-throat industry. Absolute terrible standards to generate viewership and controversy.

There is still hope - 6 more episodes. Pretty much half way and I don't know what can stimulate more interest for me. Since I'm half way there might as well finish it.

I can't help compare this drama to Go Ahead and feel it's a let down. GA was too long but was more entertaining, however the Korean version feels watered down, slow and boring by episode. FL's acting is pretty bland and can't emote well. I can't feel her chemistry with ML either. ML acting is passable but I hope it gets better soon.

Can someone please give me some good spoilers on FL/ML's fluttery moments in the novel? I can't find the time to read the novel unfortunately and I know it's kind of like a slow burn. Is there any love triangles here?
